This is a true resort. It has three pools, including a splash area for young children and a private pool for adults. There's also a private beach and staff on hand to provide free beach activities like paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling. My favorite favorite part is the gym! It's super modern with a water view and the pickleball court was very popular. Many will notice every spot at this resort as a view, from the restaurants to even the hotel store balcony. The only consideration is this island is not walkable, so if you need to get to a local store you need a taxi and food service ends at 10pm and there's no Door Dash, so late night snackers better plan ahead.

I LOVED this hotel. I came here the first day by myself and felt so safe and all the workers were so accommodating to me and helping me know to about what to do and how to stay safe. Also, the breakfast is to die for, so so so so good! This hotel is definitely more of a family styled hotel, so there are lots of kids, but they do have adult areas that have bars and beautiful views! 10/10 recommend

Wonderful views of the bay, and cruise ships coming and going. We only had one night due to a Cancelled flight, but the service and accommodations were excellent. We had dinner at the boy sushi bar, and really enjoyed the sushi and atmosphere. I would definitely consider this a great place to stay while in the Virgin Islands. The only issue was the room AC took quite a while to cool down and drop the humidity. Not bad enough to complain at the time, but if it was any hotter might have let the maintenance crew know. Otherwise was too tired from a long day of flight delays in a crowded hot airport (STT).

No cell phone reception in the room—we had to walk outside to get reception. The WiFi didn’t work for us and the TV had a big box of resort info blocking the screen that we couldn’t get rid of so we couldn’t use it. The room was also tiny had no microwave and the bed was so stiff it hurt my back. Not worth $800 before tax! I’ve stayed at many hotels under $300 that were more comfortable. The resort outside the room was pretty.

This is a beautiful property. My only complaint was a corporate event was being held during our stay and my family and I were prevented the use of the main pools and bar. We were also paying guests and would like to have use of the pool instead of being crammed with 200 other guests into a smaller area and having to walk flights of stairs for bar service.

Gorgeous views from the hotel. We enjoyed the combination of beach and pool environments the hotel offers. Food service at some of the restaurants were lacking. Some of the restaurants had capacity but the staff was not willing to fill the tables, at peak dining times.

Do not recommend this property for vacation on St. Thomas. The Westin staff was unfriendly throughout the resort (from the beach bar to the pool area to the front desk). The only staff members who were nice and deserve a shout out was Benito who checked us in and the lady at the concierge desk who helped us with dining options. Cleaning ladies were so loud in the hallways every morning and didn’t vacuum the room once during our 4 days there. Cashiers/baristas at the Frenchman’s cafe constantly charged me for a large coffee when I asked for a small. At the end of our stay, the front desk charged us an extra 110 dollars for internet when we used the “free WiFi” they advertised on their website and on Expedia. The views from the property are beautiful, the amenities are also very nice, also I do recommend dining at the sushi restaurant however the service was so disappointing that if I do return to St. Thomas in the future, I will definitely not be staying here. You’re better off spending a bit more and getting a much better vacation experience at a 5 star hotel.

This is my first time EVER reviewing a Marriott property in 27 years of being a loyal Marriott owner and user of all their properties With the exception of one staff member at the front desk The staff was either rude, LAZY ,inattentive and all on their cell phones. Slow would be an understatement .We checked in and there were blood drips on our comforter clear as a could be. The air conditioner filter was clogged with debris and shut down last night of our stay putting the room to 76 degrees. resort 4 months open- Watch out for overcharging your bill- watch out especially for the taxi drivers who ,if you are not aware of set pricing , try to overcharge you. As an example-coming in from airport should have been 16$ a person with 1bag-somehow it got to 44 -on the way back should have been 16$ per person again - our driver said 83$ because it was only us and it was considered a private taxi- I showed him rates and amazingly it turn into 32$ -on property restaurants were overpriced undersized portion and took forever to get service and food . Last night of stay we waited 20 minutes just to get drinks to a table for 2 - bar ran out of beer during happy hour 4 x's Breakfast -to get a cup Of coffee-waitress went got cup-then got coffee then got milk stopping at other tables, coffee was cold by then and forget about getting a cup of tea Overall the Westin was a beautiful resort but Marriott needs to clean house starting with manager- -overpriced/horrible staff get some management

For the rates being charged, everything should just be Better. Our shower didn't drain properly so we were always standing in 6" of water. Our sink didn't drain properly. Housekeeping missed us & would Never leave enough washcloths or towels for a family of 4. Housekeeping didn't seem to have a vacuum -- at all. I repeat, a resort on a BEACH where people are tracking SAND in didn't use a vacuum regularly -- if At All. The floors were Gross. You claim that we have exchange privileges with Buoy House yet we couldn't use their pool or their beach chairs. Soo basically we could just use their restaurants? -- like Any NON-guest of the resort?!? We paid alot of money to feel inferior & to discover that my kids couldn't even use 2 of the 3 pools at the Westin. The location is beautiful. Most of the outside grounds are nice. The food was good in restaurants & service decent (even if drinks were badly watered down). And any time we needed the missing towels, washcloths, or coffee because housekeeping never came... the staff was always Very Nice, apologetic, & relatively quick to rectify the issue... but at these rates, Everything should just be Much Better! Will not be recommending this resort to others.

Lovely hotel with great views. Very clean. Liked that it had its own pool and beach. Also that we had a shuttle that took us down to the beach. Also loved the beach chairs, pool chairs and umbrellas. Decent staff. Odell at the entrance offered good suggestions to us and was very friendly. Some areas of improvement are 1. Manage pool towels better as they ran out a few times. Keep better track of how many towels are going out and to whom 2. Make more kid friendly, get more games/entertainment and the serentity pool was the best pool for kids yet we were kicked out of it 3. Have more affordable meal options and local food options on campus. To eat offside was a $9 cab ride each way each person.

The amenities are top notch and everything is great quality, however we could barely see the ocean from our balcony, we were ignored a few times by restaurant staff, I asked for an iPhone charging chord in the gift shop and the lady that was working in the office was rude and shut the stock room door on me, the coffee shop employees acted like they were miserable. We went over to Secret Harbour resort because of the poor service and loved it there. The rooms were much bigger and everything was oceanfront. The bellman put 6 bottles of water and 6 Coronas in the fridge for us and everyone there was nice and accommodating.

The property, amenities, pools, rooms was as expected. Clean, most in great shape and aside minor facility issues, I give it a solid A. No problems with check in/out, air con in room, view, and overall dining experiences. Expect a five star hotel with two/three star “island time” service restaurant services. We have been on the BVIs a week before and learned to slow down….However, we are paying a bit more and mostly received better service than most other places so keep that it mind coming from a New Yorker who thinks WAIT is a “four letter word” :-) In the end …. positive all around…. Except one nasty incident. The front desk clearly stated there was complete reciprocity on using Bouy Haus and their restaurant, beaches, water sporty things and pools. If you enter the pool area facing the Westin hotel there’s no signs except “Bouy Haus”. We took up a small lounge chair and went to the pool. Ordered a few round of drinks, charged to our obvious Westin hotel room and was wearing the Westin fabric bracelets. We were there for about 45 min to an hour as we had lunch reservations at Salt Shack next door in an hour. Our “fatal mistake” is when we did a quick 10 minute lie down in the cabanas. After we were getting up to head to lunch. Mr Ricky accompanied by security - blocked myself and my fiancée and stated “what is my intentions here?” if this isn’t passive-aggressive, I don’t know what is! Of course I said “why, what’s the problem?” He berated me.

Slow service. The shower did not work. The room safe did not work. The cleaning staff left our room open the entire day while we were away.

Overpriced got food poison in twice gave me $90 dollars refund only i want a refund for two days of not being able to enjoy the hotel i was stuck throwing up in bed stomach pain headache it was horrible for both of us

Beautiful spot! The views are outstanding from the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food at the hotel restaurants was very very good. We stayed here for 7 days and ate at the restaurants every day. The property is so clean. I was very impressed and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend this Westin property!
