Room was right next to elevator. Could not sleep either night. Too many loud groups coming and going and were very loud while waiting for the elevator. Had to ask several times for extra pillows. The room had issues and needed some repairs. Also, the prices for drinks at the bar were more than the posted amounts....no idea why. They claimed the room had a sofa bed. It did not. There was a chair that folded out to a single bed. Also, the shuttle to downtown was out. This was one of the reasons we booked. I would not stay here again...much better options closer to downtown.

Beautiful, water front.property. the staff was helpful and kind. Eddie the transport driver was very knowledgeable. Good food at the bistro in the lobby. Close to downtown. Great time!

There is a University Physical Plant (MUSC) across the street and outside your room it is very loud especially rooms facing that way. I had expected to spend some peaceful tome outside since its on the water but i found it to be unpleasant.

Beautiful hotel with all necessary amenities. Bistro/Starbucks in lobby. View over looking pool/river is gorgeous. Free shuttle to waterfront and back every half hour. Definitely pleased with my stay!

A nice stay!
The stay was really nice. My only complaint is that the bed was not as firm as I would have liked it to be; appear to be really soft; as well as the sitting couch - i sank into the seat, not really firm. Otherwise, the staff was really kind and the stay was nice. Environment clean and clean room.

The shuttle to downtown was a huge plus ! The drivers were so accommodating picking us up and dropping us off at convenient locations outside of the regular pick up/drop off spot. They also helped in recommending restaurants and tourist spots to take in while we were there. It was great that they ran the shuttle from 7am until 10:45pm so that you could plan your day and didn't feel rushed. The only added plus would have been if they did pick up/drop off at the airport !

Overall we had a ok experience at this hotel however it was marred by the fact that we spotted a few palmetto bugs in our room late the night before as well as the day of checkout - when I reported this to front desk during checkout they just kind of shrugged and said “we’re doing renovations”. Otherwise, parking was easy, location was good, breakfast was good.

This is a beautiful hotel. Although a bit far from the city center they do provide a shuttle to the Waterfront area which was fantastic. The bathrooms are a bit dated but there was a posting that renovations are in progress so our room was not yet done, but it was still very clean and functional. We did have a light dinner at the Bistro and the food was very good.

This hotel thinks it's a resort. But it's not. The rooms are tiny. The sink and shower were lousy, including no water pressure. The bath was more motel 6 than marriot. The mattress was on its last legs, the pillows were laughable and they charge for parking (which is ridiculous). They also didn't make up our room. The "restaurant" was never open when you wanted it to be and there was no complimentary coffee bar. No coffee options in the room. They say they have a "Starbucks". But it's not really true. They serve starbucks coffee for an hour or two every morning. And someone had used all the coffee in the room and it wasn't replenished. The AC sounded like it was 1978 era econolodge. All. Night. Long. Black mold on the wall/ floor near the AC. The check in was a bit rude. First thing she said was, we had the wrong place. No, I already paid and this is the place. Do yourself a favor and stay at the holiday inn or holiday inn express. Less expensive and better in every way.
