"I called a week before check in to confirm my arrival in Lake Charles. I received a call back less than 24 hours. We were there for a Family Reunion. Sweet Life Family Haven is all in the name and they did not disappoint. We were very happy with the spacious open living room kitchen area. The photos of this home is exactly what you get. The house was clean and equipped with the necessities. The backyard pond was a wonderful spot for morning coffee. The stay, the host and the house all were absolutely wonderful. I look forward to visiting Lake Charles, La. again, I have family there. "

"Good pricing and decent room for the price. However, there was a dead cricket in the bathroom, the coffee pot had a "spent" coffee packet left in it, the A/C probably needed to have the filter cleaned or replaced since it has a slight odor to it, and the caulking around the tub area could use attention. It is the small details that make a decent room at good price go from just decent to outstanding. Breakfast should be served until at least 10 am to allow late risers to get up and get moving. Other than the small items, the room was good - the staff was excellent and responsive. All in all, we'd probably stay here again in the future."
