We provide complimentary parking for our guests, which is a rare offering among beach hotels where parking fees are commonly charged. As a smaller beach hotel and condo, we have limited availability, especially during peak season, and are unable to accommodate more than one car per room. Our parking policy is stated on all booking platforms to inform guests in advance of their bookings. Regarding the issue of the toilet backing up into the bathtub, we identified a leak on the first floor, typically caused by overfilling the tub or toilet on the second floor. Despite no prior reports, our maintenance staff visited your room to ensure everything was in order, and they were informed that there were no issues present. Additionally, the room underwent inspection after your departure, and no issues were discovered.

While we don’t have room phones, our front desk is ready to assist, and onsite security addressed any after-hours concerns. Your feedback on room phones will be shared with the Pelican Pointe HOA. We regret the AC issue you encountered. To prevent any disruption, we aimed to move you to a different room. Unfortunately, no studio rooms were available, so we upgraded you to a slightly larger standard room (365 sq ft compared to 345 sq ft). If you preferred the studio, expressing concerns during your stay would have allowed a temporary move to the upgraded room for the night, followed by AC inspection the next morning, and then a return to the studio room for the remainder of your stay. We are sorry to hear that the construction next door impacted your experience. Please know that the construction next door is not affiliated with our hotel and we have posted notices on all third-party booking sites, informing guests about the nearby construction in advance of their bookings.In response to guest preferences and considerations during the peak of Covid, we implemented new housekeeping procedures. Rooms are only entered upon request and a daily towel exchange service is available. Recognizing that many guests still prefer this option, we’ve decided to maintain these procedures. If you desire daily housekeeping, this may be requested at the front desk, with your housekeeper, or by using the provided door hanger that indicates “do not disturb” or “please service room.” We apologize for any miscommunication. We’re committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a fantastic experience at Pelican Pointe, and we regret falling short of your expectations.
