Imagine waking to the sound of the ocean from our 6th floor, beach-front condo! Right on Madeira Beach, our condo complex has a heated pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, tiki hut and a large barbeque grill. Experience true on-the-beach living!

Luxuriate in a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine from the 30 foot long balcony which spans the length of the condo. Access the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom so everyone can truly appreciate the breathtaking ocean views and spectacular sunsets. You might even get to see the elusive "green flash" as the sun settles below the horizon.

Madeira Beach, which the locals call Mad Beach, stretches in front of our condo which we lovingly call La Playa Loca. Enjoy the 180 degree view of the Gulf of America. If you'd rather swim closer to home, feel free to use the building's heated pool and hot tub reserved exclusively for those staying at the Ocean Sands complex.

Our condo is located between Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches, and within 45 mins. of Tampa International Airport. The building is within a short walking distance to a grocery store, drug store, convenience store, restaurants, bars, shops, a post office and a library. The popular John's Pass Village is a short trolley ride away.

La Playa Loca is professionally cleaned between all guests. Cleaners have been trained and use checklists to disinfect surfaces, linens and towels, particularly with regards to the current health environment.

La Playa Loca offers all the amenities you'd expect in a fully furnished condo:

Another year, another wonderful vacation at La Playa Loca. We enjoyed our time in the sun spending time at the pool and on the beach. The view from the balcony is spectacular where you can view the dolphins in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. The condo is very clean and well maintained. As always, Scott and Laurie are great hosts who ensure you have everything you need to sit back and enjoy your time at their condo in Ocean Sands. We had an amazing time in Madeira Beach while staying here. The condo is in a great location and enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach each morning was fabulous! The hosts are great to work with, responsive and accommodating. We felt very welcomed and appreciated in their condo. Whether we were in the pool, inside, or on the balcony we were able to truly relax and enjoy our stay.

Spectacular! What a beautiful condo! Scott and Laurie are the most responsive hosts we’ve ever encountered with VRBO. When they asked us if there was anything they needed to change or fix, we honestly couldn’t think of a single thing! This beachfront condo provides everything you need for fun, inside and out. The decor, amenities, comfort and location are perfect. In our opinion this is the best condo on madeira beach - we love it so much we bought one . You can not go wrong renting this vacation condo . The view can not be beat . The beds are fabulous , condo is fully stocked with supplies (tissue ,soap , towels , ocean toys , laundry etc . Fabulous owners to rent from .

This is our third time staying at this condo on the beach. Scott and Laurie take excellent care of their property. We love sitting on the large balcony over looking the Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets are spectacular. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and pool. The kitchen has everything for cooking dinner or restaurants across the street for when we didn’t feel like preparing dinner. We have booked another stay. We will be back.

Beautiful condo located on 6th floor with amazing views. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are very nice and aim to please their guest. Located right on beach and within steps to pool. John's pass 1 mile south of condo. Don't hesitate - this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

Our stay at La Playa Loca exceeded our expectations. Scott and Laurie were perfect hosts and thought of everything. Anything you could possibly need was in the condo. The location near restaurants and stores is ideal. All the beach equipment and even a cart made beach time a breeze. The large deck was a perfect place to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and dolphin sightings.

Well maintained and clean condo that was well equipped with beach equipment, beach towels and a nicely appointed, modern kitchen. We have stored at several other units in this building and this was definitely the nicest. Excellent communication with the owner who seemed genuinely interested in our well being. I plan to return.

Madiera Beach is our favorite place to visit every summer. We have stayed a few places but this condo is the best we have found and we have stayed here for 3 years in a row. From the friendliness of the owners to all the extra beach toys they provide, the experience is wonderful. I almost hate to write this review because I don't want to have competition in booking this condo in the future. We will absolutely be booking this condo for years to come.

Beautiful condo and terrific hosts. Had a wonderful experience. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Feels like a home away from home! Building has also incorporated COVID social distancing safeguards regarding elevator use, which was comforting. Condo, beach and pool areas were all very clean.

Call it luck or a blessing but we booked this condo last minute after others cancelled. What an amazing location, area, and condo. Scott and Laurie do not disappoint with this one of a kind stay. They are so hospitable and welcoming. The condo has absolutely any and everything you would need. We were even greeted with chocolate covered strawberries! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area to stay here. Book well in advance! This place goes quick!

We've just come off our third consecutive stay at La Playa Loca. This place never disappoints! It's beautiful, always kept up-to-date, and amazingly well-stocked with things one doesn't usually expect to find in a rental. Scott and Laurie go above and beyond. I have been staying at ocean sands on and off for 35 years. Made some of the best memories this time around. I’ve never had owners be so accommodating and thoughtful. What stands out is the owners the pride they take in making your stay comfortable. I can't say enough wonderful things regarding La Playa Loca and our hosts! The property at La Playa Loca was exceptionally clean and the view was amazing! This was our first stay in a VRBO and don't know if all VRBOs have this but, we were impressed by ALL of the condo. amenities from beach items, spices, coffee, coffee fixings, soap products and paper products (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper). Our terrific hosts promptly responded to questions! I look forward to a return trip to La Playa Loca!

We had a great time at Madeira Beach.The weather was perfect and the condo was better. They have everything! You just need to show up and chill out. Beautiful view. Scott and Laura were very helpful. Much needed after the Zombie Apocalypse Covid madness. Thanks. Will be back.
