"The most peaceful place to stay!My cockapoo and I took refuge here whilst our neighbour was having building work done. We had a great time. Lovely off-road walks right on the doorstep. No traffic noise whatsoever. There’s a well stocked village store for all groceries and we walked there most days to get supplies. I didn’t use my car all week. The cottage is very comfortable with all needs met including a very generous welcome pack. The double bed has a top quality mattress and luxury cotton bedding. It was hard to get up in the morning. The shower room is en suite.The kitchen has everything one needs plus a great coffee machine!I didn’t go to any pubs or restaurants so can’t comment on these. I was quite happy cocooning in the little cottage just enjoying the peace and tranquility. I didn’t want to leave! I felt like I’d left the world and its woes behind for a week. If you’re looking for the most peaceful place to recharge your batteries, this is the place to be."

"1-night stay for work (I was working at the hotel the next day), was in a room on 2nd floor. Good greeting by staff at reception, space in car park which is free. Room was comfortable, ensuite was good, TV and wifi were good. Good sized desk to work at with decent chair if required. The only disappointment was young children running up and down the 2nd floor corridor."

"My partner and I had a 2 night break at The Granary this weekend gone. It was perfect, it has so much character and is really cosy. We also had such a warm welcome. We had everything we needed for our stay, the heating timings were perfect, never too hot or cold. It was really looked after and welll kept and very clean. We loved the underfloor heating too.We had no disturbances and was a lovely quiet area with a stunning nature reserve just down the road where you can have fantastic counrty walks.We will definitely be back to stay again and we are really looking forward to our next visit.Thank you again for a wonderful stay."

"Wonderful first impression on driving up to the property, location was perfect for a bit of 'me' time. Struck lucky with the weather and was able to sit outside a lot of the time, enjoying the birds, of which there were plenty, including a sparrowhawk that sat on the fence and shocked the socks off me, closest I'd ever been to one, a special moment. Garden was in Autumn mode, so a bit bare, which is only to be expected, apples all over the place which probably came down in the high wind a few days before but I managed to salvage quite a few so they weren't wasted. They were truly delicious too. A bit disappointed with the kitchen facilities, only 1 very small baking tray and nothing to use as a casserole dish for the oven, not a teaspoon to be found, and no measuring jug, luckily I didn't need to use the frying pan, it would have involved climbing on a chair to reach it, not ideal for an oldish person on her own. Sofa was very comfy, bed was a bit too soft for me but I recognise that's a personal preference, I had to hoist myself out of the dip, mattress seemed to suck you in. Didn't see a soul my entire stay, apart from a delivery guy, and that suited me fine. Bath was wonderful, piping hot water and nice and deep, I lounged for quite some time. All in all I had a lovely relaxing stay and would certainly book again, I'd just bring a few kitchen bits with me next time."
