We always find the Hilton to be reliable for expectations of quality and service and this location did not disappoint. It is set on one the most beautiful beaches (Pebble Beach) that we saw during our stay. It is not in the middle of the "action" of Bridgetown or St Lawrence Gap so better for families and quieter getaways. This also means you need transportation to get to restaurants or shopping. Only the Careenage Bar seemed to be more reasonable for dinner prices and the quality was very good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful and the HHonors Executive Lounge was a nice option for snacks and cocktails (although the crackers and veggies could use some variation). We never seemed to have too much trouble finding lounges at one of the two pools and the water temperature was perfect. The Bay side was my husbands fave beach spot for swimming. The room was comfortable although the King bed we had was very saggy. The balcony had a cement wall instead of railing so this blocks most of the view if you are sitting down! Request 5th floor OCEAN side for best view.
"Island Inn Hotel is a quiet Barbadian establishmen"
We booked reservation in Island Inn because the Amaryllis Beach Resort closed. It was our first all 'inclusive experience' and we were very pleased by the variety and quality of the meals provided. The owner of the Inn was a most gracious host and the staff one and all were a delight.
One problem: The bathroom facet leaks and water runs to floor. The dripping during the night was a little inconvenience .But nevertheless compensated me for inconvenience. So overall I would definitely book again with Hotel. Location excellent.
