The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pools, beach, bar and day and night activities. Everyone at the hotel made our stay awesome, everyone was friendly, engaging and helpful. I would absolutely return to the Hilton Barbados!
We had a week at this hotel and overall it was pleasing the exception being the bar and restaurant area which was disorganised and lacked customer focus. The bar staff showed little finesse with service and there was no waiter service outside the bar area. The food is OK but expensive,

Sweetfield Manor Historic Inn and B &B is ideal for those who want a lodging retreat close to airport, cruise port and central Bridgetown. The seven room converted plantation house has understated charm and a welcoming, very personal staff that makes you feel that you are sharing their home. Rooms are slightly different, very well maintained with three, upstairs in the house and four in an adjacent one story building. No elevator. Great grounds, with tropical pool, serene reading space around koi pond, small crows nest deck for reading, cocktails, etc. and visiting peacocks from neighboring home. Staff could not be more pleasant or accommodating. Very special, gourmet breakfast dining. Not for those who want five star, ocean front, typical tourist hotel with standard amenities.
"Island Inn Hotel is a quiet Barbadian establishmen"
We booked reservation in Island Inn because the Amaryllis Beach Resort closed. It was our first all 'inclusive experience' and we were very pleased by the variety and quality of the meals provided. The owner of the Inn was a most gracious host and the staff one and all were a delight.
The capital city of Bridgetown dominates St. Michael parish. Here, history thrives at several attractions. Built in 1654, the Bridgetown Synagogue is the oldest in the Western Hemisphere. Mount Gay Rum Refinery has distilled the spirit since 1703. British monarchs figure prominently in Parliament’s stained glass windows. Off Brownes Beach, divers explore shipwrecks in the Carlisle Bay.
