Lough Bawn House
5/5 Excellent
A lovely stay
"My husband and I only stayed one night but I can say that The Lough Bawn house is like being in a story book with its idyllic setting. Everything was as perfect as I expected… from our room to the breakfast table! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lovely and very quiet place to stay. "
"The owners were charming. A place to stay, if you like old properties, don’t mind not having benefits like being able to use your mobile as there is no broadband connection in the area. Also, I had trouble using the front door key to open the door."

"Lovely old hotel with lots of interesting spaces to gather, to rest in a library, out on a small patio. The breakfast was very generous and good With lots of variety."
"We had a lovely time at this hotel. All the staff were friendly helpful and very pleasant from reception to bar staff and cleaning staff
Food in the bar was very good value and breakfast was great. There was music in the bar which was an added bonus
Pool was lovely sauna and steam room all working. Rooms very spacious and no shortage of heating . The golf course looks great
We will definitely stay here again in the future"

"Kathleen runs a lovely B&B out and away from the cities. It was a very nice break from hectic Dublin. Beautiful area and just a short walk to the nearby Cabra Castle which has a short woodland walk. Definitely recommend a stay here if you find yourself in the area. "
