Its on the first floor of a two floor house and the owners lives upstairs. The living room has a full sized Futon/Chair bed in the event that an additional adult wishes to stay or 2 small children. A deck is on site for dining or for viewing of the spectacular Antigua sunsets over the sea. Dickenson Bay Beach, one of the finest on the island is about 5 mins walk away and several restaurants are also within walking distance. Public transport is available with the bus stopping right outside the apartment. The bus ride to the capital city is just 10 mins. A large supermarket is 20 mins walk away. We opted/were able to be picked up from the airport by Colin whose parents house we stayed in. Cheaper than a taxi and we called by a supermarket. Throughout our stay Colin was just great. Always helpful, informative and resolved any issues that transpired. I do need to mention that Colin’s parents live above the apartment (no1) and where up/talking at 6.15am. This was resolved after a couple of reminders by Colin. After which we were able to wake up gently like you want to on holiday. Bedroom curtains were too thin and should be heavier/thicker material! The apartment is a little dated, but spacious and well equipped. Although up a slight hill the apartment is well placed, and has a terrific view from the decking area. Fantastic value for money, well recommended but for the sleeping issues which might not be a problem for some. Thanks Colin and all the best for the future! ##### Paul B.
