Caribe Breeze is a very quiet, private villa that can accommodate up to 8 guests with new owners as of Dec 2024. It is now fully solar, off the grid. The villa was featured House Hunters International on the show "St. John Someday." Come see St. John’s natural beauty from Caribe Breeze.

Caribe Breeze boasts extraordinary, expansive views making it a wonderful place to relax - day or evening. British Virgin Islands are on the horizon, with breathtaking sun and moon rises. There are panoramic views of the Virgin Islands National Park, never to be developed. The sunrises and star-gazing are spectacular! Lay on a float in the pool at night and watch the shooting stars. The sound of the constant surf below is extremely calming.

There are two separate Master Suites (one King and one Queen) each with a lovely outdoor stone shower. Both the King and Queen Suites also have a single daybed for a child or extra guest. There is also a queen sleeper-sofa in the living area with its own private outdoor stone shower. Both bedrooms are reached by going outside and are not connected to the main living quarters, ensuring maximum privacy. The two lower suites have quiet Mitsubishi air conditioning. The villa can sleep up to eight comfortably. Pricing is based on two - four guests, and additional guests are $50 per person per night extra. The pool deck makes a great place to watch the tropical sunrises or enjoy a glass of wine or cold rum drink.
We have all the amenities of home, including large Roku TV, beach towels and chairs. This is a comfortable home with gorgeous interiors and furnishings.

You can walk to Salt Pond Bay and John's Folly Bay. There are several restaurants in Coral Bay and the Calabash Market is only 5 minutes away. There is excellent snorkeling just down the hill in John's Folly Bay, or drive a short distance to Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay.

A rental car is a necessity. We recommend a jeep-type vehicle with some road clearance. It doesn't need to have 4WD. I have a list of all the rental agencies in St. John that I can provide, although Slim Man is a great choice. (It is also possible to rent a car in St. Thomas but it needs to be similar to a jeep and then you need to use the car ferry from St. Thomas and back.)

The location of the property is very close to Salt Pond Beach, our favorite beach. Additionally, the home itself is very private with beautiful views. Everything was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home.

Great stay. The house was very well furnished. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was great. Dawn coffee watching the cruise ships traverse Drakes Channel. Donkey visits during happy hour. Highly recommend a stay.

In short, we had a blast! The house is close to others, but secluded due to the hill it is on. Great having a private pool, and the sunrise views are amazing! Kris had the place immaculate and we will definitely be back.

We spent 8 nights at Caribe Breeze with another couple and the house could not have been more perfect! The separate suites with outdoor showers were comfy and private. The house is well laid out and has all the amenities you could want. We enjoyed the pool every day after our morning walk to Nanny Point or Rams Head. Hope to stay here again next year!

Can't say enough about this place! We've stayed at many places around STJ and this is one of the best. It has everything you need. the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and cookware, beach chairs, coolers and is very clean. The view, the view, the view! We cant wait to book this property again!

The two very separate and private master bedroom suites afforded us much privacy. Comfortable, well-stocked, and absolutely magnificent views. The owners were helpful and accessible. Close to great snorkeling, hikes, and beach options at Salt Pond and Lameshur. And extremely wonderful to take a relaxing dip in the pool before dinner. Highly recommended!

We just returned from STJ, after a wonderful 2 week stay at Caribe Breeze. Kris and Lindsay made us feel so welcomed and were great hosts and now friends! The villa has a spectacular view and is nicely decorated. We especially loved the outdoor showers and pool. The road to the villa can be bumpy, but was no problem with our Jeep. Coral Bay is such a great community, with plenty of good restaurant options, so no need to travel to Cruz Bay nightly for dinner. We can't wait for our next visit to beautiful STJ! The location was OKAY, far south eastern side of the island which has more rocky beaches and is more secluded and quiet. They're only about three restaurants that were a drive away and a couple of small and expensive grocery stores. The house itself was a bit more outdated than we had thought. We also had a few issues like the screens that were broken by a previous guest and the front door lock wouldn't work a couple of times so we couldn't get in and out very easily which was a major inconvenience but these were addressed within a day or two by the owner and property manager. The pool w clean but the deck was definitely in need of work and a bit hazardous. All the showers are outdoor which at first was a little weird but they actually were very pleasant and there was plenty of hot water but it does run out. The fan in the master bedroom did not work. Air conditioning works in the bedrooms as stated in the listing. It was incredibly windy up on the "hill" which kept the mosquitoes away but could be chilly at times. Overall it was interesting. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the house because of the rough dirt roads. Having a large washer and dryer was great for Beach days. Lots of beach equipment and plenty of towels. Bring your own toiletries cuz what was provided was generic and gave my sensitive skin hives. Outdoor grill is great it was easy to use and already set up. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Furniture could use an update. Overall was fair.

We came as 2 couples and the house was absolutely perfect! We each had our own private sleeping quarters, but also fabulous space to all hang out together. We spent our mornings exploring the islands, but afternoons were spent in the pool and evenings playing games on the beautifully breezy back deck overlooking John’s Folly. The house was clean and entirely free of insects, which is the first we’ve experienced in our many visits to St John. The kitchen and baths are well appointed. Kris and Lindsey were the perfect hosts, checking in regularly and going out of their way to be sure our stay was, again, absolutely perfect! We can’t recommend highly enough, we will be back (soon, we hope!!!).

We just returned from a week at Caribe Breeze in April 2016. We loved the views of BVI from the upper deck. It was a very relaxing vacation (reading lots of books and just chilling on the deck). We spent our days going to different beaches to snorkel. We saw many turtles and rays at Hawksnest and Maho. Returned home in the late afternoon to swim in the pool (ours kids loved the pool and pool floats) and grill dinner. We had five in our group 2 adults and 3 kids(not the bravest souls) we had the girls stay in the king room with the additional twin and the boys stayed in their private suite on the other side of the pool. The owners were very responsive and checked in once we arrived. The house manager Rosanne was very pleasant and available if needed.

Spending 2 weeks at Caribe Breeze provided incredible views from 2 porches. The upper deck for our meals and watching the sunrise, islands and rainbows, and the lower porch for sunning, cooling off in the pool and amazing star gazing at night. A walk up the driveway on a clear night can show a sunset view to Puerto Rico. The villa is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms work well for a family of 4 plus. Loved the outdoor showers. Every day was a choice of where to snorkel and hike. Be sure to rent a 4 wheel drive. Great food at nearby places - Tourist Trap, Shipwreck Landing (smoothies at Columbo's) and groceries at 2 local stores (Calabash and Dolphin Market). So nice to eat meals here when done exploring for the day. Snorkel nearby at Salt Pond and hike Rams Head or drive to Maho and other great locations. Thank you Kris and Lindsey.
