This wonderful Hotel has it all, great staff, 2 very good restaurants and well stocked bars. The spa and fitness centre have a superb pool with lots of beds to relax on. It has a great entrance lobby with a great feature staircase and big large corridors it is well kept and looked after. We had an amazing long weekend break and will return in the future.
Me and my husband stayed at the Jersey Grand Hotel between 25th Sept - 28th Sept 2015. We had just got married on the 25th Sept, and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to a deluxe suite with sea views of Elizabeth Castle, a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates, without any extra charge. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were polite and very helpful, if you needed anything.
My husband and I booked at the last minute as the weather seemed settled. The hotel was actually much nicer than we had anticipated. The staff (all non British)) were exceptionally polite and helpful. The food was excellent and there were plates hanging in the hall which informed us of food awards which the hotel had been awarded, the latest being 2014.
We would definitely go back there if we visited Jersey again, the hotel is only about 15 mins by car to the airport and 10 mins walk from St Helier centre.
Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Room was modern, extremely clean and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was really good, nice choice and all good quality.
We tried the restaurant out for dinner and found a good choice of meals, something to suit everyone & costs reasonable.
Parking was limited but we always found a space and staff were very accommodating and would have moved others if needed.
Location was good - just a short walk into town. It is on a busy road but that didn't bother us at all.
You get really good value for money here - I've stayed in plenty of 4* hotels that didn't offer as much as this one. The staff were all very professional but also friendly.
Would have no hesitation to return or recommend to others.
Spent a lovely few days in this very relaxing hotel which has a lovely location with fine views over harbour and bay.
Breakfast buffet has excellent selection of fresh well presented food
Staff all very helpful and attentive.
Stayed for 3 nights over the busy Bank Holiday weekend and although the hotel was virtually full, never felt overcrowded. The twin room on the 3rd floor was clean and the beds were so so comfortable. The room itself had everything you'd expect of an hotel room but perhaps because of the 2 single beds, was a little cramped. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room which we used were a definite plus as would the gym facilities if you wanted. We only stayed bed/breakfast so can't comment on the evening meal. The breakfasts were excellent - good choice and hot. Location to the shops, bus terminal and marinas is excellent. The number 15 bus (£2 fare) drops you within an easy 9/10 minute walk to the hotel. They run every 15 minutes, journey time about 30 minutes anad the route goes right along the bay's so gives you good orientation from the start. Island tours can be booked from Reception. £20 for full all day Island Tour - excellent value for money - more so if you're lucky to get coach driver Alex - you'll never stop laughing and what he can't tell you about the island, it's history and residents isn't worth knowing. (Yellow Coaches). A return visit is on the cards.
"Convenient hotel within walking distance of Town"
Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help. Outside of hotel was bright and looked freshly decorated. It was a shame the inside looked a little tired. Everything was clean and functional. Most annoying thing in our room was the creaky floor by the toilet especially when stood on in the middle of the night! The only meals we experienced were breakfast and bar meals. Both were lovely, but the bar meals especially so. The portions were huge and could easily be shared by two people.the swimming pool was a lovely extra after a day of sight seeing. Evening entertainment was not good. The overall average age of hotel residents seemed to be 70+.
Great hotel, very comfortable and clean. Close to the beach, town, and bus station. Good breakfast and restaurant. Plenty of good restaurants close to the hotel if you wish to eat out.
The airport bus (no 15) stops and pickup at the bottom of the road, excellent service.
Would definitely stay here again.
