Family-friendly holiday home in St. Helena
This delightful 125-year-old farmhouse, overlooking a vineyard, sits on two acres. Recently renovated, the house is 3,000 square feet and can comfortably sleep 6-8 people in three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and the third with a king and a view of the vineyards. The remodeled upstairs bathroom is charming with a claw foot tub and pedestal sink.

The downstairs has a large front room, a dining room and a separate parlor that is great for gathering around the fireplace with family and friends. There is a large wrap around porch that has two twin beds, which also have a view of the vineyards. The porch is also a wonderful place to dine on warm summer evenings.

The award winning kitchen (Northern CA Kitchen Design Competition) has a farm table and large sliding doors that open onto a wisteria covered deck and seating area - the perfect place for your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. The adjacent dining room provides an elegant extension of the kitchen and includes another cozy fireplace. A second attractively updated bathroom along with a laundry/mud room is located just off the kitchen.

Such a beautiful property. It is nice and secluded but close enough to town. We would definitely stay here again.

Rustic and charming
We had a wonderful time at this property, which was extremely well located. Jim was very easy to work with, which was a big plus. A gorgeous setting, and a rustic, charming, historic house. Fond memories made. Our only warning is that when temperatures are hot, this house doesn't have A/C (we knew this upon booking), so it can be uncomfortable until well after sunset. The fans can only do so much. If you're not bothered by heat, or book during cooler seasons, this place is ideal.

Great location, excellent property
Jim was an excellent host. All the information you need is nicely organized in a folder on the counter. I did not pay attention to that fact and asked him several questions…his response was prompt and once he reminded me of the folder, I had no more questions! The property is awesome. We enjoyed many evenings on the patio just outside of the kitchen. We never took the opportunity to cook/grill out but the amenities to do so are perfect.

Great for Groups!
Our group of friends had a great time at Jim’s house. Jim is a great communicator and we really appreciated all the extra touches, including a fridge full of beverages. The outdoor and indoor communal spaces were perfect. We walked to town for dinner or breakfast on a number of occasions. This was a great stay. We would definitely rebook on a return trip.

Superb hospitality, great house, great location
Can't say enough about how welcoming Jim makes this house, from the history he gave after booking, the list of recommendations and neighborhood guidance, to the added amenities upon arrival. It felt like staying at a friends house. Owner Jim stayed engaged throughout our stay, making sure everything was going as planned. It's a lovely house in a great location, walk to town, many great wineries nearby. Highly recommend.
