Great location for the beach in Morne Rouge... basically a 20 metre walk away.. Small apartment-type accommodation with cooker and fridge. Decor is a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Large balcony area looking out to sea (over a couple rooftops). Super helpful and friendly staff. There is a beach bar restaurant which is part of the complex and another independent one next door which a has a bit more choice. For self catering there is a supermarket about 25-30 mins walk away. Overall we loved it and would stay again. Not sure why it only has one star on google.... it deserves better!

The sea view was not as shown in property photos. Our view was mostly of a parking lot. Dated furniture. Unreliable hot water in bathroom.

We had to switch hotels after experiencing a horrible stay at Reef View Pavillion Villas, and we booked Gem Holiday Beach Resort as our replacement. To our surprise, the personable receptionist (Lorraine) upgraded our room to Kalinago which offered a breathtaking beachfront room with easy access to the pool, bar and parking. Overall we had a great time, and the breakfast at Sur la Mer (their in-house restaurant) was one of the highlights of our stay. Definitely the best view I've experienced while eating breakfast.

Relaxed safe place to stay
Ample space, safe and clean. The bedroom is air conditioned but the sitting area is not. Great balcony with view. Very helpful staff. Eat at LA Plywood right across. Great food. Don't bother with the hotel restaurant. The beach in front is good. You can walk to Grand Anse Beach in 20 min. As well as a grocery. If you are picky about staying in places that are like the Raddison, don't come here. But we thought it was great. Night guard on the property. Quiet too.

BBC Beach
Our stay was very nice. The front desk receptionist and Lorine were very accommodating. The location is very good. There are 3 great little places to get a drink along BBC Beach. La Plywood Bar, Rocky's (only open on Sundays), and a brand new bar near Rocky's (can't remember the name)

It was practically on a lovely beach, staff are very helpful and the place is very quiet and has a homely atmosphere. Could not benefit from the upgrade offered as I needed a kitchenette to use because of my health problems and their sister property does not offer one. Second time visiting. The kitchen inventory needs to be updated however, add larger bowls, mug and perhaps a blender. Kudos to Kizzy and Lorraine who quickly got us settled in although we were early! 😊

It has been a while but good to be back....
Stayed here a lot in the past but good to get back to this hotel. Service was great and I was really happy that staff were so friendly it felt that I was returning home.

Little Gem on Morne Rouge beach.
Lovely apartment on the best beach in Grenada.A little off the beaten track but perfect for a few days as we stopped off in Grenada. Staff were lovely, restaurant does good breakfasts, lunches and dinners (we had breakfast one day and lunch another). Room 4 was great for us (a couple) with a lovely sea view terrace for G & Ts at sunset.

Family feel 20 room hotel on the beach, friendly and the quietest and best beach on the island. They checked me in by 19AM off an early flight and gave me confirmation complimentary coffee while they checked the room over. Beautiful location 29 min walk to Anse beach or just hop on the minimus for $1 to St Georges

An affordable, welcoming place right on the most beautiful beach in Grenada. Nothing fancy, but wasn’t there for fancy. Was there for the great little beach bar and restaurant that serves the best Roti in Grenada, and the people who work there and become your friends. I love the Gem nd its staff. 5 time visitor.

Rooms are good size equipped with everything you need. Home away from home. Friendly staff especially Lorraine, the cleaner and Antonio from the restaurant. Easy access to the beach and beautiful ocean view and sunset.

My stay was relaxing after the carnival. The people are exceptionally nice and friendly, the beach is very clean and the water is very warm ni matter what time of the day. My only problem is that they charge you service charge plus vat on the food. I think that service charge should be your choice. But overall i love the place and will stay there another time while vacationing in Grenada.

The property was ok, but it needs improvement, with utilities, plumbing etc. The staff was excellent. However, I did not get the Caricom rate that I was entitled to because I booked with Expedia.

I really enjoyed my vacation at Gem, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach was excellent and most of all right on my doorstep. Only downside is that the road to the property is really in need of some serious repairs.

Relaxing place to stay.
This resort was excellent because it’s right by the most beautiful beach, it’s decor is dated but very clean so that makes up for it, security was tight even though it’s not really needed in Grenada as it’s a safe place. The staff are so nice and friendly, will stay again next year.

Gem is a Gem
Front desk seemed “ indifferent “, only offered to carry my bag up 3 floor, husband had to carry his ( I am sure porter would have done it if asked, but he did not offer) Restaurant was also mostly indifferent, breakfast great, but give yourself 1 1/2 to eat ( between service, cooking and eating), so if you have tours planned you have to plan ahead, view for breakfast is fabulous, on the beach, quiet, laid back, AC in bedroom perfect, but fan in kitchen and living room insufficient ( but who cares). Garden view was a view of roof and tv dish and parking lot, but overall condition of hotel clean and freshly painted

This hotel grew on me. Yes, the furnishings are dated (tube tvs have been upgraded to smart flatscreens). There are not enough outlets (you have to unplug the microwave to use other kitchen appliances). Soap holder screws could use tightening. But it's all part of the charm. I had a very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment above the office with a fantastic sea view. The sunset my last evening was spectacular. The unit was spotlessly clean inside and out on the wrap-around balcony. Everything worked well except my phone; what's app filled in. The office and housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Most of the restaurant employees were upbeat and warm; food wasn't the best but it was convenient to have right there. Gem provides chaise lounges and towels to use at the beautiful, clean and uncrowded beach. Overall I had a wonderful and relaxing time, and the value can't be beat.

This property is located on one of the best beaches in Grenada. Property is dated but very clean and wonderful staff. Great location to walk to town for shopping and restaurants. I will go back.

the place is falling apart. Could not stay there and had to rebook another property. Everything is old, outdated, dirty, falling apart, etc. Staff was very friendly but would not give us a refund. We could not even get our doors to lock.
