3-night summer stay at Tregorran
We had a nice stay at the Tregorran guest house, the owner was super lovely and had many helpful tips. The room is a bit small for more than a couple of nights, but overall was a good trip.

Great place to stay if you're going to Mevagissey. Free parking and just a short walk down to the Harbour. Very friendly hosts and lovely breakfast. Room was very comfortable with a nice view over the Harbour.

Booked this for my Nan and grandad for 2 nights and they had a lovely time. They commented how comfortable the beds were and how well they slept (a rare thing for them!), how spacious and nicely decorated the room was, and how friendly the hosts were. I also spoke to the host before they stayed, who was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Well worth a visit.
Spent a lovely 2 nights here. We were well looked after with a very nice breakfast on both mornings. The house is at the top of a steep hill with nice views. I would recommend staying here.

This is an excellent family run guest house in a great location 5 minutes from the centre of the village, although the return route from town may be a bit of a climb for old 'uns.

Nice hotel close to village centre. Comfortable. Off road car parking really useful in a village with parking difficulties. Make sure you are fit for the walk back up the hill from the village centre!

One of Cornwalls little gems.
This is certainly a Cornish gem. The accommodation was excellent and the hosts could not do enough for you. You were served with an excellent breakfast which was sourced from local producers. I would certainly recommend this guest house.

Great views
Gareth and Lara are excellent hosts, and are always available for your requirements. The views from the property are stunning, and the breakfast is very good, with full English, pastries and cereals available. The rooms are extremely clean and provisioned with drinks and biscuits. The walk from Mevagissy village is a challenge, being 30% uphill in places, but it helps to walk off the evening meals available from a multitude of restaurants in the village. The hosts also provide tickets to local attractions like The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project with significant discounts which also adds to its appeal. Highly recommended.

Good views across Mevagissey
Initially we had trouble finding the address with the sat Nav but after consulting a couple of helpful locals we found our way. The harbour is great for photos and I would recommend the ferry to Fowey as a good excursion from here.

A great place to stay
We had a clean, bright, pleasant room with a view over the harbour. En suite facilities were fine and the breakfast was delicious with more coffee, toast etc available. A bonus is that the guest house can offer discounted tickets for the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The minor drawback is the short but very steep walk down into the town. Also beware - Satnavs tend to direct you to the Tregorran via the town centre which is not possible. The Fountain pub nearby offers great food.

Wonderful stay
Excellent place to stay. Gareth and Lara are super nice and helpful, nothing is a problem. Room was clean and comfortable. Hosts were always available to answer questions, give advice etc. We had a great stay! Tregorran is at the top of a hill so to get into town you must walk down the hill and of course, back up. You cannot drive it. If you're in a wheelchair then it will be tough otherwise if you're generally healthy you'll be fine. We are in our mid 50's. Do not let that put you off though. Several places to eat in the little village and all of them we visited were good. I would recommend Tregorran if you're in that area.

Had a lovely stay at Tregaron room was nice,bed a bit soft but after the walk up a very very steep hill from the village you slept well anyway. Breakfast is very good and gavin and Laura who run the hotel look after you really well and can answer most questions you could ask.

Tregorran Guest house Mevagissy
Really nice place would recommend this as the place to stay if you want to visit this area we had a lovely room which overlooked Mevagissy a comfortable room with good wifi .We had a PRIVATE bathroom but not en suite so be careful when booking {private bathroom does not mean suite} we had to go across the landing to get to it, but it was big and clean with a good size shower.the breakfast was great full English meant just that FULL ENGLISH so be hungry when you order that.The only thing i wasn't overly happy with was the parking when we arrived we were asked if we could move our car as it was a long one so they could get vehicles in better which to me seemed a good idea but when i returned later the car park was a shambles i couldn't get my vehicle in properly to be able to get out of the car as one of the other smaller vehicles had parked at an angle making it difficult for me to get out of the car as i have had a knee replacement and have difficulty bending my knees so instead of going to asking the other guest other guest to move their car over as they did with me they gave me some earache and she then had to get her husband to back mine i a bit further one the car was in my wife could get it out enough for me o get in other than that a really nice place to stay.Just watch how you park .

Great location but not good with GPS so get directions from hosts who were great. Really good stay with bathrooms lacking some space in some rooms.Not suitable for the who struggle to walk or disabled access.

Shssh,don't tell everyone-this place is a lil gem!
Had 3 lovely days here. The weather wasn't the best but it didn't spoil a thing! Danny and Helen are fantastic hosts, very warm, welcoming and helpful, we almost felt we lived there! A lovely find - very clean, tidy and the shared balcony is a lovely chance to meet and chat with other guests. The brekkies are yummy and Danny's morning tune's no too bad either (lol). Our room was a bit 'snug' but that wouldn't put me off going back, the bed was very comfortable, the location was quiet aside from the wonderful sound of seagulls in the morning telling us it was time for brekkie and a walk. We loved it here - the walk home from the village could be a bit of a challenge for less abled people but if you have too legs, you'll find calf muscles you never knew existed! :D All in all, a great little find, which we'd have no hesitation recommending to anyone and will be booking a return visit to ourselves.

Great guest house in Mevigissey
Stayed just the one night. Received a very warm welcome from the host. Room was quiet and comfortable, with a great view over the town and harbour. The town and harbour were an easy - albeit steep - walk away. The room didn't have an ensuite - but did have a private bathroom over the hallway. That was OK, but not ideal. Parking is available on site and in the street. Avoid driving into the town - it can be difficult getting back out with its VERY narrow (but quaint) streets. The guest house is can only be accessed by car from the top, via the road above the town - not the bottom. Check your maps first.

Lovely relaxing stay. Steep walk from and to Mevagissey but that's Cornwall for you. The host's Danny and Helen couldn't be more welcoming. Great breakfast with a good choice.

Nice guest house close to the harbour.
Perfect location, close to Eden Project and fabulous costal walks. Really nice staff and room, very clean with everything you need. I don't think the location is suitable for disabled or parents with very young children due to accessibility. However for all those able bodied people - perfect hotel and location xxx

We had a very nice two night stay. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Danny and Helen were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room was clean but rather on the small side for two people. Mevagissey is a great location with good coastal paths, interesting shops and plenty of pubs.

The guest house is in a lovely position and the owners were lovely. Breakfast was excellent. However, the shower appeared to be faulty as we got either scalding or freezing water. Found the memory foam mattress a bit weird to sleep in and the bedroom was tiny. However, the view was wonderful. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.

Our second time here.Tregoran is a well run guest house in the beautiful village of Mevagissey.Its in a pleasant quiet location,but up a hill so not for people with walking problems.Danny and Sally are attentive hosts and will male your stay a pleasant one.

A very enjoyable week's stay. Danny and Helen were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean with good facilities and we really enjoyed the local produce used in the excellent breakfast.Enjoyed sitting on the decking area with a great view.Good to have onsite free parking and access to free wi-fi. Mevagissey harbour only a five minute walk and close to coastal path.
