An absolute gem! I am so pleased we booked to stay here. The b&b is in an excellent location close to shops and restaurants and overlooking the harbour - the views are amazing. Also not far from attractions which is great! Ian and Val make you feel at home. They are extremely helpful, friendly and great hosts. The breakfast is lovely. We stayed in Wordsworth room which was a good size, and has a sea view. I wouldn’t change a thing and recommend to anyone looking for a nice chilled out break away. The only thing I regret is not staying longer. Thanks Ian and val !

A Real Gem
We stayed at Honeycombe House for 4 nights earlier this month and it was a really great experience. Ian and Val are lovely welcoming hosts, just the right people for this type of business! We stayed in the Wordsworth room which had a fabulous floor to ceiling window with sea view. The weather was pretty kind to us and the sun streamed into the room in the mornings. The room (and the rest of the house that we saw) was absolutely immaculate and had everything required for a very comfortable stay. The Covid precautions were excellent, everything was very thoroughly thought out. Parking was fine, Wordsworth didn’t have a designated parking space, but plentiful free parking was very close by. There was an excellent breakfast choice and we always felt set up for the day! We had some very nice meals out in Mevagissey but had to book for all our evenings at the beginning of the week and even then, some restaurants couldn’t accommodate us due to reduced capacity, The walk up the hill after dinner was good exercise, don’t be put off by the hill, we are really unfit and it didn’t bother us, it is more than worth it for the fantastic view.
