The hotel was great, the room was really clean and spacious and so comfortable. Having the area at the front where you could pick up snacks or a drink was really useful . The shower was fantastic! We were in a room at the back and the first train that went past was unexpected,so be aware there could be a little noise, but after the first one we didn't have any other problems. There were other places to eat nearby too The day after out stay we walked into the town and spent a few hours exploring, as the staff had allowed us to leave the car there until later in the day. We would recommend this place and if I'm back in this direction I would be very happy to book again

They messed up our registration. I paid for a top level king bed room. Then I called the hotel to add a second night in the same room, which they said was no problem. When we got there they didn’t have my second reservation and thus my wife and I had to settle for two double/queen beds in the backside of the hotel at full price. Won’t be staying here ever again.

Unfortunatley the original room had issues that needed to be fixed therefore the room could not be rented and was taken out of inventory and there were no other king rooms available to give you. Sometimes things happen beyond our control and I see that you are in the front of the hotel and I have adjusted your rate which you will see upon your check out in the morning.

It is an OK hotel with a nice location close to San Augustine Town. Walkable distance to the town. Room was clean. Early checked-in which was very convenient.

It was very close to old St Augustine in a safe area next to a welcome center. Our problem was with an accessible room. the bathroom was so small I had to roll into shower to turn around and to access a horizontal bar. The bar at the toilet was vertical which is unusable for real support as your hand slides down the bar. Also, even though it was just a regular motel with parking by your room, they informed us after we arrived that there was a $12 parking fee.

Check in process went well. Room was very plain. Cooling system was very noisy. Drapes on window were letting bright outside hall light in and, well, we’re ugly. Pillows were lumpy and way too soft. Bedding was scratchy and comforter was heavy and pilly. Lots of outside noise, cars on busy road, other guests, etc. More of a low budget motel feel here. Food & coffee selections were not good at all! Very disappointing overall.

For the price it was quite adequate. It is a motel setting on the main road coming into St Augustine. Rooms in the front get the noise from road (occasional sirens). Rooms in the rear get the cargo trains. Pool area is nice. The building is older and they've tried to make updates. Beds were comfortable.

The only recommendation I will give to the hotel is to have more garbage cans in the room, there is only one and it’s tiny 🫤. Other than that, This property is great, even though there is a train passing behind it you don’t even hear it at night time. Very pleasant view from the back deck to just have your morning coffee or just chill when you are done with your day. The weather was great making it even more pleasant. I will definitely recommend this place. ☺️👍

For some reason we got a handicap room. I found it odd that the toilet was inside the BIG shower room.

That is our wheelchair accesible room for guests that can not get out of the wheelchair and need to be in a shower area... It is also used as a King room for other guest when the wheelchair accessible bath area is not requested. We try to accommadate everyone.

Day clerk super nice. Night clerk not so much. I bought(and ate) a candy bar from the little pantry and then realized it expired in September 2023. Pillows sucked; air conditioning way too loud and the staff around there seemed a little sketchy (not day clerk) Hoping I don’t have food poisoning; won’t stay there again

Large clean rooms, well stocked with toiletries fridge and ice maker. Hotel is directly beside a train track. Although close in proximity to all historic attractions, it is a considerable distance to walk to a safe street crossing where there are traffic lights. We waited for a break in the traffic but it is a very busy street. The pool area was very nice and had comfortable seating. Once you get across the street all the historic attractions are walkable. And the hop on hop off trolley is directly beside the hotel so no need to cross the street to buy tickets and take the tour.
