Great gem on the outskirts of downtown St. Augustine
Overall had a really great stay and would absolutely stay again. The location is great - just a quick 10-15 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. It also had multiple restaurants within easy walking distance for mornings we wanted to go out for breakfast. While the property is a bit of a walk from the beach as it’s at the back of the neighborhood, there is “visitor” parking by the private path leading to the beach which made it more convenient. Loved the amenities as well, which included two pools (one of which was heated). The condo itself was very clean, and they’ve made some good updates including the flooring and countertops.
Only areas I’d call out: don’t expect to get in early. No one stayed at the condo the night before we arrived and we received our check in code at 2:30 on the dot even though we asked about getting in a little early. This is definitely not required or expected, so that’s fine, but it would’ve been a nice touch to get in a bit earlier on a day we spent hours traveling in torrential downpour. Also, as others have said, it is very much on a main road. We brought a box fan for white noise, so we weren’t bothered at night, but if you don’t bring something for blocking out the noise, you will hear every car, truck, and siren that goes by (lots of sirens).
All that said, we’d absolutely stay again and had a wonderful time. Communication with the owner was great and we felt it was great value. Thank you!
