I booked a three day trip the reason for booking the Apex was the swimming pool and jacuzzi but when booking I was never told that it would be closes on one of my days this is unacceptable this should be stated on the booking form

The mattresses are wearing they had the shape of a worn mattress where people lay every nigh. Pillows were really bad . I had to put two pillows into one pillow case to firm them up the quilts have nothing left in them ?. Really I had to fold it in half to keep warm . For the price we pay for a 3 stay hotel they should start putting miney back into it before bits too late. Just seems this year the rooms could do with upgrading and it needs doing quickly before customers start to go elsewhere. The staff are brilliant and should be told so by whoever is in charge . The cleaning staff do a great job to keep the rooms like they do but the rooms and bedding really do need upgrading

We were in superior room directly above main entrance. Due to noise smokers and vapours we had a terrible sleep. Noise and conversations kept us awake most of the night. This visit was for a special birthday but was ruined by lack of sleep from noise below our room,

Hotel rooms are huge and overall very nice, easy check in and parking is available for £5 for 24 hours. Only problem we had was we had ordered room service drinks which didn’t arrive, we had to go down to the bar when we were leaving to go out to be advised from bar staff our order had went missing.

Good quality small chain hotel
I booked a late deal at a good price on Hotels.com so in that context it was good value for money. The hotel is on the fringe of the city centre about 15 minutes from the train station.

A lovely overnight stay.
We just stayed for one night but it was lovely, and I’d definitely stay in this hotel again. Breakfast was particularly good. We had ‘Eggs Quayside’ - my husband had the version with smoked trout and I went for the one with veggie haggis. Delicious! The quayside view was stunning too.

Great stay at the Apex Dundee. Friendly staff and had Amazing Food and night and great Breakfast the morning after. Lovely modern room will be back soon.
