We booked a taxi to the airport for the morning of our flight and when we checked out there was no ride available. Along with 2 other groups that Morning. We ended up having to order an Uber to get to our flight. Front desk was over whelmed with more than one checkout at a time. Almost missed our flight.

Arrived and the first room was so full of condensation that the bed was wet and the water was rolling down the wall. They moved us to N upgraded room which was not clean, floor was sticky and bathroom has a horrible smell. We were in transit so the stay was literally 8 hours. We ordered food from the restaurant to have on the balcony and it was over priced and pretty average after a big upsell on how good it would be. Staff were super friendly

Clean, friendly and great location
Thank you to the beautiful staff at Amagi Aria❤️! We stayed only 1 night but was met by friendly and lovely staff. The location is amazing, really close to the airport but still tucked away with a beautiful view to adore when you wake up!

Do not bother staying here. There are so many accommodation options. Pricing is in line with other 4 and 5 star properties, however the pictures are misleading and property is in poor condition. Service is average. - We arrived late at night and they couldnt find our reservation - We were checked into a room in a lower category that what we'd booked. After seeing the room and challenging it they went to change it - The room was very worn out and run down. Dirty floors, damaged furniture. The bathroom was a disgrace. I've never seen anything like it. The toilet seat was heavily soiled with all sorts of stains and a terrible smell. - Bed linen soiled - Communal areas were dirty, food on the floor in the outdoor and indoor dining areas. Looked liked they'd been there for ages. Given the obvious lack of cleanliness and hygiene we were afraid to eat the breakfast as we doubted the kitchen hygiene - After a late flight we got into our room around 4am. We didnt sleep or use the facilities because of the poor conditions, and left the hotel before 9am.

Good place
Nice setting and well designed facility. Room generously proportioned but was a bit dark at night as lighting not really adequate. Air conditioner was noisy and it sounded like there was a tropical rain storm happening I had to turn it off to get some sleep. Buffet breakfast was good.

Amazing views, outstanding food and staff that go above and beyond, genuinely beautiful all round. Our room was amazing with a stunning Lagoon view, cleaned daily with bottled water also replenished daily. Everything was clean and service was amazing. Food was outstanding, the chefs amazing, my partner was particularly partial to the Seafood platter, the buffet was incredible with a wide variety of options available, Cakes were beautiful. All staff we very friendly, couldn't help enough and were a key part in making our holiday as memorable as it was, we are truly greatful to all of the staff particularly Subash for being so welcoming and helpful, Supunika for remembering our awkward lunch requests and still smiling : ) Sumeda for helping make our meals so outstanding and delicious and last but by no means least Malinda for his excellent, friendly and attentive service. There are many others whos names we didn't manage to take but you know who you are and thank from the bottom of our hearts, all of the staff are amazing. To make it that little bit better the hotel is also only a short drive to the airport so transfers were quick and easy. Excellent resort great view over lagoon. Rooms were big and comfortable. Air conditioning was great. Good to have a balcony. Organised a car through hotel to pick us up at airport and it was there waiting which was good as flight arrived late at night. Food in restaurant good. Organised car and driver through hotel to do sightseeing. Staff were excellent always friendly polite and so helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel. It is in Negambo not far from airport on lagoon. You don’t get any of the traffic of Colombo.

This was a beautifully appointed residence on the shores of the lagoon. It was in excellent condition with large comfortable rooms and good facilities/amenities. Close to Colombo International airport and staff were extremely accommodating arranging pick up in the middle of the night and allowing late check out so that we could catch up on some sleep. I thoroughly recommend.

The front office was not courteous and inspite of we requesting for a Airport pick up, no arrangement was made and we had to call multiple times on the same. Also, they were trying to charge unreasonably for the pick up and drop. For a 5 km ride we were charged LKR 2000 which is normally only LKR 500 by a regular taxi.

Service staff are faultlessly BRILLIANT. WiFi needs serious attention. Given access codes that failed, after a few annoying hours, got logged into a system that would only work in my room. Fine for some people,some of the time, but you don't stay in your room all the time, Important phone calls were missed while by the pool, Bar and wandering around the grounds. Returning the calls proved an issue as the connections kept dropping out. Yet the availability of 5 other Amagi services were visible with full bars, these I was not allowed,able to access!

Efficient service. Organised for the Hotel to pick me up from airport and the driver was not there when I arrived. Plane landed early and I moved through the terminal quickly but disappointing to be left waiting for 20 minutes. Power went out a few times while in the room and trying to watch TV. The shower in my room all didn't drain properly and I almost flooded the bathroom. It was only a short stay and the staff were very accommodating and friendly, the room was tidy and check in/check out was all very smooth.

The staff were all so lovely and the location is amazing, such a peaceful atmosphere. Also really easy to get from and to the airport. I would 100% recommend!

My first room was a lagoon view and I was upgraded to a large room with a view from the balcony of almost the whole lagoon, sunsets included. Brilliant.

Pros: The interior design of the room was very nice. I had the sunset suite and the room was very spacious. The property was quiet and conveniently located near the airport. The spa was nice and reasonably priced. Cons: This property was definitely overpriced. Sri lanka is generally inexpensive and this hotel was not. I had the jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi was covered on the balcony. But when I uncovered it before use, it was very dirty. Not from dust or debris from outside but it hadnt been cleaned after the last person used it. It was late so I didn't feel like having housekeeping come to clean it so I didn't even get to use this amenity that I paid for. I had the halfboard meal option but the dinner and breakfast were mediocre at best. Overall: Okay property if you can book it far in advanced for a cheaper price. Pass up the upgraded room option as the jacuzzis are not cleaned regularly. Best as a transit hotel.

I liked the rooms and it looked nice. What I didn’t like was the strong unpleasant smell from the Lagoon and it was isolated from any outside restaurants or nightlife.

Great stay! Really nice views of the city and lagoon. Nice pool. Great buffet selection. Staff was super helpful and nice. Would absolutely recommend for anyone.
