First off the back door was BROKEN and would not close! It’s winter; so not ideal to stay with kids! Had it been me, by myself, I would have sucked it up! Other than the back door; the stay would have been nice!

Great escape

This home had everything we were looking for: it was private, the view was beautiful, close enough to drive in and out of town and rural enough you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. We watched eagles from the balcony, and hot tubes into the night. Loved the design of the home, and will for sure be back again. Thank you!

Cozy cottage

Overall very nice cottage. We had a lovely time and the views were amazing. Not great ventilation in the place and the water did not stay warm for longer than a couple minutes but that was in the description so we were prepared for that. We spent a lot of time innthe juccuzi and the wifi worked well enough with only a few hiccups here and there, which is to be expected as the property itself was secluded. The fridge didnt seem to cool much but i communicated this with the property owner. We would definitely stay here again but it would be better suitted for 2 people rather than 4. Overall a lovely homey place.

The home was cute and the view was awesome. It was a bit close to the main house and the access was down a trail which was not well lit especially in the dark. Other than that the hot tub and the view were really great! The option of the second bed was also a nice touch!

Cozy place with lovely views and great private hot tub. Only downside is the flood light in the parking area that shines through the windows all night. Not ideal if you like it dark when you sleep.

Beautiful dome house above the river

I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. I reached out to the property owner( right next door) and she said she knew nothing about the hot tub, but her husband did. I then reached out to the property manager- left a message and sent a text- never got a reply. I loved the done house itself. And the view was amazing!!!

No privacy

We weren’t very happy with our stay. Although the property itself is unique and beautiful, we felt like we were being watched. My daughter and I were using the hot tub and took a break for a snack. We stepped away from the hot tub for maybe 10-15 minutes. My husband was approached by the owner in an angry manner about putting the lid on the hot tub. He was looking at us from his property and that makes me uncomfortable. We also saw a camera pointed directly at our patio area where the hot tub is. It’s unacceptable. I called to make a report and still haven’t received a call back to resolve the issue. Also, the stove didn’t work and WiFi was very spotty.

Although the property is beautiful and unique, we didn't appreciate the feeling of being watched during our stay. The owners live right next store and have a view directly to the patio and hot tub area. My daughter and I were using the hot tub and stepped out for a few minutes to grab a snack. Within 10-15 minutes the owner went up to my husband and told us we had to close the lid of the hot tub when not in use. Not in a friendly manner either. That man was watching us and it left me feeling yucky. There is a visible camera out back as well that we saw from the other property. I don't think that is ok. Also the stove wasn't working so we couldn't cook inside.

The vacation home was overall very beautiful, cozy, quiet and peaceful. The river in the back was soothing and relaxing. However, the biggest reason I reserved this place was for the hot tub and the hot tub didn’t even work and there was a review from last month (April 2024) that expressed the same issues I had with the hot tub not working. This should have been fixed before renting it out to the next guest, being that is one of the sell points of the property. Additionally, the hot water was only warm about 6 minutes then turning very cold. There was 2 of us that stayed here and only one of us was able to use it until the next day. The bathroom sink was also clogged when we used it. (could use some drano) we are coming back out for an event In June and I’d love to consider staying here again if the items mentioned above are fixed.

Gorgeous River Views

We really enjoyed our stay here. We felt very relaxed, loved the views, the hot tub and the comfy bed. Some things that could be improved- very bright flood light fills the unit up with light at nighttime (had to hang beach towels over the existing window covers). We really enjoyed it. Feel very relaxing with the views in the hot tub in the complete bed but some things I could be improved. Here was the very bright flood light that filled up the room at night time we had to hang him beach towels over the existing curtains and lack of privacy for the bathrooms, and that the kitchen probably could use some more cooling tools. Beware that the bathroom is not private/separate from rest of the unit. Overall we had a lovely stay.
