Staff great, room ok

Posted 13-Aug-2016
Pros: Price and location were good.
Location: Bass-Pro Shop and Hemingway's Restaurant. I knew Ernest and I think he would be proud.
No bed covers, and the blankets were dirty--reminded me of being on a dig in Egypt. Partially remodel rooms with good floors, but the fridge never got cold and there are no coffee makers in the rooms. Again, with no cold or hot drinks I was back in South America hunting for Cortez's treasure dying for either something cold or hot to drink instead of more lukewarm water. Had room with double-beds and the mattresses were not comfortable for anyone over the size of a small child. Bring small children with you so they can enjoy the bed, and you can sleep on the floor. These beds are not soft enough to break you fall if you need to jump out of the second floor window. Take your chances and aim for a flowerbed if the place burns down and you have to jump.

We appreciate the feedback and use it to help improve our brand. We apologize for your experience while staying at our location. I have spoken to housekeeping concerning the missing linen and the cleanliness of the sheets. The mattresses are in the process of being replaced. Also, the coffee pots and kitchenware are no longer kept in the room, but are available upon request by the guest. This is done in order to allow each guest the opportunity to customize their use as desired. The front desk should have mentioned it upon check in and I have reminded them of that fact. Again, I apologize for your experience and hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future to serve you accommodation needs.

Ok hotel

Bathroom very small. Ants in kitchen. No plates, silverware. Other extended stay hotels had everything, this one you have to go to front desk. Too much trouble

Your review for our hotel was recently brought to my attention. I'm disappointed about the cleaning issues in your room and the miscommunication. It should have been explained to you, during check in, that you can request cookware at the front desk because we sanitize the items after each guest.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I'm disappointed about the issues with the utensils. It should have been communicated to you at check-in about our amenities. Overall, I'm glad to see you had a great stay with us. Thank you again for your review. It would be our pleasure for you to repeat your experience with us in the future.

UGH

Posted 08-Jul-2016
This hotel was the last in our string of bad hotels for our trip. The poor man at the front desk was overworked, but very friendly. The hotel was recently changed to Non-Smoking, so if you are allergic or sensitive to cigarette smoke like me, it's a crap shoot. Our first room had a VERY strong smell. We found a cigarette butt in the window sill, and the TV was pointed to the window with a chair next to the window. Clearly the person before us had sat there smoking. This made me wonder if our room had even been cleaned. We were moved to another room, one of the suites, which was definitely nicer and didn't have a smell. Still not sure how clean the room actually was. The front desk clerk said it was just him, no housekeeping staff, so that just solidified my concern. It wasn't the worst stay of our trip, but that's not saying much!

Insecure and non specified payment conditions

Posted 27-Jun-2016
The bathroom smelled like hair dye , and the outside are very insecure, I witnessed a violent car robbery in the parking lote. About payment issues, they accepted card payment without my name on the check in and then when the first week was accomplished, they didn't accept the same card, because internal policies, warning to kick out, fortunately another friend help us with the credit card.

Last Option Only

When we got into the room, it looked pretty clean, but then we noticed that the shower had not been cleaned as there was still shampoo and other items from the previous tenant. This of course leads you to question what else has not been cleaned. The elevator was kind of scary as it would "jump" and stop very hard when it got to the top floor with anymore than one person in it. Due to this, we ended up taking the stairs whenever possible. The stairs looked like they had not been swept in months. Just trash, dust, and dirt all over on all three flights. We stayed two nights and they didn't not clean our room during our stay. Once again, this leads to you wonder how often they are cleaning any the rooms. After our first night, I asked the lady working the front desk if we could get a late checkout. She said they were very busy and could only to noon. At 10am we had housekeeping knocking on the door asking to clean the room. We told them we had a late checkout and would be out by noon. About 30 minutes later, a (different) lady from the front desk came and knocked on the door to ask if we were checking out or if we were staying another night. I told her that we had a late checkout and would be out by noon. She apologized profusely and said that the overnight lady had forgotten to mark which room had a late checkout and that she "couldn't remember." Unless there are no other options, I would avoid this hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. We use the feedback in order to improve our brand. I called several times but you messaging system would not let me leave a message. We apologize for your experience that you had with us in May. I did speak to our housekeeping staff about making sure the bathroom is clean and presentable for our guests. The elevator was inspected and is safe. I have also spoken to maintenance concerning the stairwells. As well, guest rooms are cleaned after the seventh day at, so you would not have had the service for a two night stay. Again, we apologize that the information wasn't shared at check in. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better stay in the future.

Friendly service. Quiet location. Unfortunately, my room was not fully cleaned when I checked in. The kitchen floor was sticky, there was bread left in the cabinets, and there was food splattered on the exterior of the bathroom door like something had been thrown against it. I usually love this place but I was a little disappointed this visit.
