We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I'm disappointed about the issues with the utensils. It should have been communicated to you at check-in about our amenities. Overall, I'm glad to see you had a great stay with us. Thank you again for your review. It would be our pleasure for you to repeat your experience with us in the future.

UGH

Posted 08-Jul-2016
This hotel was the last in our string of bad hotels for our trip. The poor man at the front desk was overworked, but very friendly. The hotel was recently changed to Non-Smoking, so if you are allergic or sensitive to cigarette smoke like me, it's a crap shoot. Our first room had a VERY strong smell. We found a cigarette butt in the window sill, and the TV was pointed to the window with a chair next to the window. Clearly the person before us had sat there smoking. This made me wonder if our room had even been cleaned. We were moved to another room, one of the suites, which was definitely nicer and didn't have a smell. Still not sure how clean the room actually was. The front desk clerk said it was just him, no housekeeping staff, so that just solidified my concern. It wasn't the worst stay of our trip, but that's not saying much!

Insecure and non specified payment conditions

Posted 27-Jun-2016
The bathroom smelled like hair dye , and the outside are very insecure, I witnessed a violent car robbery in the parking lote. About payment issues, they accepted card payment without my name on the check in and then when the first week was accomplished, they didn't accept the same card, because internal policies, warning to kick out, fortunately another friend help us with the credit card.

Place to sleep

Posted 25-Apr-2016
Pros: Proximity to where I was going and staff was pleasant.
Cons: Room cleanliness, Internet, coffee maker in room.
Was tolerable for the price. Internet was down, so they could not bill, I could not access my email or news. A little disappointing.

Yikes!

Hotel smells like years and years of smokers - air conditioning was noisy and ineffective - breakfast was pretty much nonexistent - fellow hotel patrons were a sketchy looking group - I think at this particular facility there are a lot of people who use it as a low rent apartment building - I would never recommend this particular hotel

Pros: Has a great location - close to the interstate, gas station, restaurants, grocery store.
Cons: They need to close and make much-needed renovations.
Location: There is a great hibachi grill and sushi restaurant close by which we always like when we are in town there.
Have stayed at this hotel in the past and was always pleased. This time we found the place in disrepair, seems to be in the middle of a renovation. There were screens falling off windows, curtains tied in knots in some rooms. Appears that only rooms on the first floor were usable. The rooms have a kitchenette which is what we were looking forward to useing - no kitchen supplies what-so-ever, not even a glass to drink water. Smoke detector chirping continually in the first room they checked us into. WiFi extremely slow, almost unusable. We didnt even unpack our bag. The front desk clerk was very nice and understanding - she helped with our check-out and did not charge us as we were only there about 10 minutes. Extended Stay should know what condition this facility is in - it is unacceptable.

Never Again

Posted 28-Oct-2015
This was the #1 worst hotel stay experience I've ever had, particularly for the price. Due to limited availability in the area, we paid nearly twice the normal cost. The carpet was dirty, the blankets on the bed were sheet-thin, and the room lacked such basic amenities as a coffee maker and hair dryer. The bathroom counter and tub were stained and dingy, paint was cracked and peeling around the shower fixture, the water pressure was so hard it was painful, and the sink would not drain. The walls were paper thin and the A/C fan did not work, so we had to listen to the outside door slam all night and early morning, and it sounded like an elephant was stomping around in the room above us. Just a horrible experience all the way around. I will NEVER stay at an Extended Stay location again.
