View over Mystra
The house has everything you need. WiFi is excellent. Quiet! We have stayed right in Mystra before and did not get used to church bells hourly. You must navigate a winding road high into the hills, with a gate you need to physically open and close every time, with a steep driveway continuing up to the house. I would open the gate and then walk up the driveway after the car, but I think that would be too much for anyone with mobility issues. I think a manual car will be challenging anywhere on the mountain if you are visiting the little villages. It is not possible to walk from the house to a restaurant, the road is very steep and far from anything in walking distance. But the view is sublime and the owner, Dimitris, is very attentive. We will stay again when we return to the area.

Rustic country hideaway
Dimitrious place is a wonderfully appointed home with all the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything you will need for a home cooked meal, but if you wish there are 2 village restaurants just a short walk away. Comfortable beds. Comfortable lounge furniture, just perfect for a short stay. I recommend

Beautiful views from lovely home
We very much enjoyed our stay at Mystras Village House. It is located on the hillside above the village of Pikoulianika. We were met by the owner's mother who also provide luscious baked treats. Very convenient for visiting historic Mystras and the Sparta area. Once we adjusted for time, we found it to be good location for visiting the southern Pelopponese. Just FYI: if you are a timid driver or want fast access to highways for sight seeing you might want to consider that this is located about 15" up the moutain beyond Mystras and the last 200 meters or so are up a very steep road with switch back turns. There is a lovely taverna in Poulianka (only 200 meters, but again very steep climb) and a market in Mystras.

Marvelous house with amazing view in a charming village
Dimitris grandparents welcomed us, showed us the house and gave us some tips on what to visit and where to eat. We were treated as family. They live nearby and were available all day in case we needed them. His grandmother brought us homemade cookies an nuts. The house itself is tastefully furnished and the kitchen has everything you might need. The rooms are spacious and there is a big garden. It is at walking distance from the castle of Mystras, and the village itself has a lot of excellent tavernas. We will be back!
