Business traveller
Nobody was there to welcome me when i arrived. I was told they were understaffed when i eventually was tended to. The curtains are not good at keeping the light out if the room, especually when thete is a bright strip light right outside the window. Shower room was a little tired.. Breakfast was very expensive.

The Navigator has real opportunity for improvement. Accommodation: The rooms are set out around the carpark more like a motel with plastic front doors. The bathroom is dated and mouldy around the shower. The mattress was old and springy. The walls are thin and we could hear other guests going to the toilet and one night someone coughing and being sick at 3am. Food: The food in the restaurant is delicious and the chefs are doing an amazing job. The service however is really lacking. The booking system was down on our first night, we waited 2 hours for our pre-booked table and the service was slow - finally when our food arrived the order was wrong. It was also so busy people were queuing and there was no social distancing. Breakfast was similar, great food but the waitress just couldn’t get our order right. Sunday lunch again, food was amazing service was terrible. No matter how many times you asked for a drink, the waitress kept forgetting. In summary the restaurant is a chef away from really failing. The location is excellent for exploring the local area but we would recommend looking at the local Premier Inn up the road.
