The 4 bedrooms and 4 baths (2 full, 2 halves) fit everyone comfortably, and the back patio was perfect for the evenings. House is exactly as pictured, kitchen was well stocked, and it was very clean. Hot tub was clean and in working condition! Would recommend bringing a drying rack as there aren't enough hooks to hang beach towels and swimsuits. Great restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well as plenty for families to do. Very quiet neighborhood and quiet street! A quick walk to a very tranquil pond in a park like setting. The well decorated house is perfect for either singles or families with ample bedrooms and bathrooms and even a hot tub, as well as nice linens and towels. The kitchen was very well laid out and well appointed. We enjoyed the large TV, and comfortable furniture to use after a day of sightseeing and eating chowder and lobster rolls. We had plenty of room for a quick girls getaway. The house was about a 4 minutes drive to the beach which was great and also close to grocery stores. We had an issue with the toilet not working and within a couple hours someone was there to fix it. However, I found throughout this whole booking that the communication was very hard through the company & was again when we needed to report something broken. We were told all different answers each time we emailed with a question so we didn't know what to expect. Overall though, house was clean and just as pictured. We loved that we could use the hot tub in the middle of the winter. We didn’t realize that there were no extra towels for this so plan on bringing extra for that (there were plenty for showers). Our biggest is was when we arrived after standing outside in freezing temperatures with a code that didn’t work was that the heat was set to 55 degrees. Management responded very quickly to help with check in however we would have appreciated the heat being turned on earlier as it took hours to warm up and we had to keep our jackets on. Also the heat is set to a thermostat with no option to override which is understandable however it turned down to 62 at 10pm and stayed that way until 8am which for our group we were up a little later and have early risers and there was no way to make it warmer which was frustrating For us this was an issue since it was a very cold and snowy weekend and we were planning on being in the house. We understand not heating a house to be like a sauna but would have appreciated it being turned on a little before our arrival and had the option to turn it up if we needed. There was also a sticky substance left in the fridge that we needed to rinse before being able to use the drawer. Nothing major and I’m sure this was because it’s off season as well. Overall the property is well enough maintained. However there are things around the property that needs to be tend to. However the kitchen was pretty poorly stocked with old kitchen equipment. For a house that sleeps that many there should be more than 2 small frying pans and 2 pots.
