I paid with a credit card, so I don't understand the need for them to withdraw an extra $100 off my card for a deposit, telling I would get it back in 3-4 days. If I paid cash I could understand, but they had my card information. They didn't need to actually take the money out. That is why I will not stay at this particular motel again.

This guy kept my deposit of 100 dollars and refuses to refund me , insisting it’s the bank who robbed me, stay somewhere else right next door is a great holiday in express!!!

Almost everything we found was dirty, and what they said they had was wrong, saying that the room had a shower/tub combo, but only having a shower in the room.

Upon arrival at the Super 8, I noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It was stronger in the hallway (non-smoking) leading to my room and the smell was in my room. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The room was shabby and repairs done were of a very average DIY. Things were half painted, caulk (or toothpaste?) Was smeared on the wall, tiling was poorly done. The pool was also closed with no explanation. The property obviously needs an update- and smoking rules enforced.

Our bathroom door did not close all the way, not providing complete privacy. The light switch was loose in the bathroom and the outlet in the main room was loose from the wall, sticking out about 1/2 inch. The breakfast was very minimal. Ceiling tiles were missing on the main floor.

The front desk was super helpful and nice. The hotel hallways smelled of a mildew smell that was unpleasant. The flooring was old and very outdated. The rooms were clean and nicely set up.

Our check In Clerk was very astute and helpful. I enjoyed conversing with him, we talked of gymnastics and the opportunity to converse was very uplifting.

Disappointing old hotel
Hotel is old and rundown. Peeling paint, threadbare bedspread, dirty carpets throughout. Photos are not accurate. Beware.

This property is in need of serious upgrades. The toilet seat was so old it was peeling. The pool wasn't heated. The same muffin container was out all week.

Simple hotel, good service
Simple hotel, accessiblity room had everything which was need including a shower chair. Pool and spa was not working during stay but was not an issue.

I am extremely disappointed. I was supposed to be at LaQuinta. This super 8 pool has been closed for a year and the south side of Wichita is not a good location. This place is dated! When the rest of my family came down the next day their room at LaQuinta was very nice exactly what we wanted!

When I switched the name they had the name wrong, there was no refunds allowed and they wouldn’t even let us move it to

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! I booked online because their website said they had heated inside pool as I was traveling with 2 grandchildren. Upon arrival I was informed their pool was closed in 2020 and they were not going to reopen it. They refused to refund me due to their false advertisement on their website, so I could stay elsewhere. The room smelled horrible, holes in the covers, refrigerator was dirty with stuff still in it, no way to use microwave/ coffee pot R/T no way to plug in, I do not believe the carpets have ever been cleaned, hair in shower & sink, ring in toilet. Due to my COPD I have to sleep in cool room & pillows keeping my head raised, I was refused an extra pillow & a cover for my grandchildren who were too cold, room was not cleaned, linen not changed or new towels for the second day. I will be taking photos I obtained and reporting to better business and Kansas Department of Agriculture. Checked out and went to stay at Holiday Inn right behind them which was wonderful!!!!!

There was hole in bedspreads. There was a chair that was real dirty and the shower had hair in it and toilet ring was yellow refrigerator door was broke had to move microwave to table to be able to use it. We will not stay there again. My husband talked to the guy he said that it’s because of it being a smoking room. I paid way to much to stay there. And it was not posted on line the pool was not working.

The room itself, was clean and quiet. The common areas were dirty. The elevator had a spilled soft drink in it for 2 days. Pool was closed, which was stated beforehand. Overall, it was a good peaceful stay.

Read a review that the bedspread had holes must have got the same room they did because mine had tiny burn holes in it as well. Both chairs in the room were stained and dirty. Heater/air conditioner’s vents were broken and the dust trappers were broken and slightly hanging out. Had the indoor pool advertised but it wasn’t working looked like it hadn’t worked in some time as the water had a green color to it. Beds were very stiff and the pillows were small like couch pillows. If they did a little work you wouldn’t even mind that they’re sister hotel looks 10/10 times better then this one just in the lobby wish I had realized and booked there instead
