Nice hotel in good location if you have a car.

Posted 03-Jan-2016
Nice hotel and place to stay if you wanna relac or chill. Outside from the cuty centre. Good location but you need a car to get to city centre. Staff was either very nice and helpfull or without willigness to help. Although the late check out was offered to us for only £10 extra until 5pm. Very good value for money. Would recommend it to others.

Hotel Ibis Fabian Way Swansea

Posted 01-Dec-2015
Pros: Location
Hotel conveniently situated for city centre...whilst far enough away to be quiet....facilities as expected...my only personal disappointment was no bath available in the room...but for one night a shower was ok....but other than that things went well...

needed a bed for the night. totally satisfactory

Posted 02-Nov-2015
Pros: clean, bright. Great furniture in the lounge
Cons: our shower tiling grout was a bit missing round the floor/wall area giving a shabby appearance
Location: not applicable
It was a totally adequate basic hotel. But you want more? We had a meal in the lounge where a man tried to hit on another traveller. She rebuffed him but we offered for her to sit at our table if she was on her own. She wan't. She WAS waiting for her husband.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights as we were visiting a friend. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we had lots of information about the city centre and what we can do there, bus routes etc. Couldn't do enough to help. Room was basic but comfy, had all the essentials; shower, hairdryer, etc. I took my own blanket to put over the duvet and on one of the days the maid even made that neatly on the top of the bed which I thought was really nice. If I had to find a fault it would be that it is £8.50 per person per day for breakfast which wasn't really worth the money as on both of the days I went and we had to ask for bread and the toasters were really slow so there was quite a big queue of people waiting, however there is a McDonalds just across the road so we went there on the 2nd day! Other than that we would definitely stay again. Had one issue with the room keys as they didn't work on the 2nd day but we were told this could be due to them being in the same bag as mobile phones and bank card and within 5 mins this was sorted. Staff really pleasant and helpful.

Good Value for Money

I always stay here when I come up to visit my son. The hotel is convenient to where we need to be. The staff are very helpful, friendly and nothing appears to be too much trouble. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it looks very nice after it refurbishment.
