We had three rooms reserved, one had to be refunded due to no AC and smell of marijuana in the room. Thankfully we were able to make do with only 2 rooms. The AC in our room also really struggled and it wasn’t even very hot outside.
Terrible bathroom experience. There is no lock on the sliding door, and the shower is completely clear glass—not good for a privacy. Also, the sliding shower doors would not stay shut. Tried everything, but a few inches open at one end was the best we got.
The breakfast was decent, but we paid additional for breakfast buffet on both our rooms but were then told once we got there that it only covered two people—we had to pay additional for the others. If we had known that before we sat down, we would have gladly saved the breakfast fee on our rooms and eaten out at a nicer establishment for the same cost. Very frustrating, and was not made clear at booking or checkin that it only included 2 guests. We travel for our kids sports constantly, and I’ve never encountered that policy.
Finally, valet failed us. At checkout I was alone with my toddler and all our luggage while my husband took the other kids to where they needed to be. There was no valet attendant there and after waiting a while, I had to ask the front desk to try to contact them. Turns out they were at the airport. The front desk was able to get me my key, but then I had to walk across the parking lots with all our stuff and my toddler in tow. Beyond frustrating!
