We weren’t told until AFTER booking and being charged that the hot tub wasn’t working. Once we got there, we were told they didn’t actually have breakfast in the morning as advertised (we chose this specific location for the reason as we had several children with us). We did not have access to WiFi in our room and when I brought it up to the front that I needed to access internet to work, I was met with “Yeah, that’s being worked on.” and offered to work in the lobby—which was on the opposite end of my room and was full of teenage girls there for a basketball tournament). The pool had just been reopened that day and was FREEZING. My parents’ TV didn’t work in their room and had to have it “reset” and when they had issues with it again the next morning at 8am, they told my parents “we’ll have them reset it this afternoon since checkout is in three hours”.
All things that I honestly could have dealt with had I known they wouldn’t be available ahead of time, but feel it was extremely deceitful to not notify the consumer until after check-in and receiving payment, which would’ve taken 3 business days to reverse had we chosen to move hotels—which were all already booked due to the basketball tournament. Great location with great potential but it was undergoing construction and said tools and materials were strewn about the hallways. One of our kiddos even got a nail through his foot.
Very disappointed and won’t be booking here again.
