Gorgeous View

Posted 08-Aug-2017
Pros: Room was large and comfortable. Very quiet despite our being close to the elevator. There was practically a full kitchen. Great staff!
Cons: I would have expected the bath towels to be more luxurious. They were thin. Only reason I can think was for environmental reasons-less water to wash.
Location: 3 miles from downtown, but we had a car, so not an issue. We had no trouble getting to Victoria's sights and sounds.
Unlike my husband, I don't usually like to pay extra for "the view." But he insisted, and boy, was it worth it! It was amazing. The pools, the bay, the boats, just everything was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend this place, and might even travel back to Victoria just to stay there.

The staff was very welcoming and so nice throughout our stay. The room was quite spacious. We had a city view but if you looked to the left you could see the ocean which was nice. The kids really enjoyed the pools.

Quiet hotel away from tourist area

Posted 20-Jul-2017
Cons: Need more pool chairs and loungers
Location: Golf, parks along the waterfront where you can walk out on the rocks and look for seals, shops & restaurants on Oak Bay Ave and Foul Bay Road
This was our second trip to Victoria and we wanted to stay in a quieter location. Oak Bay is a beautiful residential community right on the water, approximately 4 miles (15 min drive) to downtown/harbor area. The hotel was lovely; furnishings, bathroom, sheets, etc. were very luxurious. The pool was perfect for my kids and the water was so warm it was practically like a bathtub--perfect since the air temperature was only 60-70F. The only drawback was the lack of pool chairs. There are only about 10 lounge chairs and 5 tables with umbrellas so it was hard to find seating every day. Aside from that, our stay was perfect! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a more relaxing, quiet stay in Victoria.

Wonderful hotel!

The staff were so nice here. We stayed with my family in a two queen bed room and were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Victoria. Wonderful views and the rooms were immaculate. Our room had a refrigerator, sink and microwave.

Completely relaxing. Location is away from the busy harbor area but great food and transport to town is readily accessible.

It would been much better if they are allowing early checkin. We got there earlier than we originally thought, and we have to wait around hotel until 4pm to check in.
