Between the patio with a propane grill and the spacious upper deck with lots of seating, there's room for the everyone to spend time in the sun or under the stars. Walk just minutes to Heavenly Gondola and the beach, with fantastic mountain views. Rent your gear there so you don't have to lug your skis! Restaurants and entertainment are also within walking distance.. This unique property has two open and welcoming living areas, with ample seating and TVs for those relaxing apres-ski moments. The living room on the main floor features rich hardwood floors and a wood-burning stove with stone surround; gather for a toasty fire and hot chocolate. The main floor also has a full kitchen, while the second floor features a wet bar. Both floors have dining areas, as well. The primary bedroom is outfitted with a California king bed and TV. Three guest bedrooms each feature a comfy queen bed. A washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi are provided. Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home. City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day, is 8 persons. Up to 4 children aged 13 and under do not count towards this occupancy limit. b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited. c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved Surfaces. Only 3 vehicles allowed. f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours. g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property. h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse. i. Trash day is every Monday. ☐ Bear box: All trash shall be stored in the bear box and will be collected from the bear box by South Tahoe Refuse on trash day. ☐ No bear box: Trash and recycling shall not be brought out to the curb before 6:00am on trash day, and shall be removed from the curb no later than 6:00pm on trash day. Violations of any of these conditions of operation are subject to citations and fines starting at $1,500 per violation may be issued to both occupant and to the property owner. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The house itself was perfect for the 9 of us to stay. The beds were comfortable and having two kitchens was a plus! The only thing that was an issue was that there weren't any extra toilet paper or kitchen trash bags. We had to buy some at the store. This rental group went above and beyond though. We had left our wedding cake in the freezer and they immediately shipped it to us without hassle. We are likely to rent from them again. ##### Melissa F. WORST property management company (Turnkey). Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was filthy when we showed up. Let me be clear, I've never written nor talked to anyone this way in my life. We showed up at 5PM (check in was 3PM) and the place wasn't cleaned. I understand mistakes happen (no cleaning), but to be treated the way I was treated when trying to contact Turnkey is unacceptable, unprofessional, and quite frankly disrespectful. I called 5+ times and every time I was told a manager or a local representative would call me back, that NEVER happened so I had to call back again and again. We made beds, did laundry, took garbage out, cleaned dishes, etc. We checked out Sunday and I'm still dealing with the issue (today is Th). I spent 6+ hours during my first 24 hours on the phone with them and another 4+ since I've been home. I'm requesting some monetary compensation and the most I'm being offered is the cleaning fee.... that should be obvious! At one point they offered the cleaning fee and an "inconvenience" fee but both weren't delivered. The actual place was fine, but I'd avoid it because of Turnkey and quite frankly I'd avoid any place operated by them. By far the worst customer service experience in my life. I also tried calling Vrbo and they were no help at all, they just blamed turnkey and said they're only a "platform." Currently waiting for a local field manager to call me back, I was promised a call within 24-48 hours. Of course that hasn't happened. Do a quick google search "turnkey vacation rentals review." The location was pretty really close to the lake and heavenly shopping and dinning center. The information provided by property management was clear and responded in a timely manner with any question I had. Check in was easy but unfortunately we weren’t allowed to do early check in therefore we had to be around town for a few hours on Friday because we weren’t allowed to check in until 3pm. The cabin was very comfortable the only downfall was the fact that it doesn’t have an AC therefore it was really warm in the house...we had to open windows :) and turn on fans even after putting heater to the lowest level possible. The beds were comfortable and very clean, the view from the patio was really nice!! There was enough dishes and kitchen supplies to make breakfast and dinner. The internet worked well and we enjoyed playing games with the ones provided. Overall, it was a great experience and so far the best cabin we had stayed at in the past ten years. ##### Marisol C. We had a group of 8 (5 adults, 3 kids) for Thanksgiving weekend (Wed night until Saturday morning) - and it was fantastic!! Even got a day of snow to play in. Cabin was warm and toasty with PLENTY of room! A nice deck on both levels each with a bbq grill. The view is nice and there is alot of space around the home so it was quiet and private. The staff who helped us with reservations were attentive, prompt, and did not miss a beat on giving us updates. The amount of space and privacy is amazing. It was super clean and the downstairs kitchen was big enough for us to cook our Thanksgiving feast and fully stocked! It is nicely kept up, clean bathrooms, nice large showers and the privacy between the upstairs and downstairs was a nice feature. Great ammenities! The location was perfect, a 5min walk to the lake, a 10min walk to the main street with shopping access. We had no issues and never had to call for assistance. Thank you VRBO for the amazing service, you helped our family enjoy a wonderful holiday together and we will be sure to come back again! ##### Joanne L.
