Things to Know Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m to 9 a.m. hours. In addition no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Security camera details: There are surveillance cameras throughout Lakeland Village property in the common areas only. There are no surveillance cameras inside the home. Ski shuttle details: Lakeland Village does not provide transportation, but the resort is on the city bus route; however, the city bus system does not go to Heavenly. Dock details: There is a beautiful, large pier with a bench for viewing the Lake. No boat docking, no diving or jumping off the dock, and no fishing. This was a big, clean great place! Short walking distance to beautiful beach on the south side of lake. Basically had the beach to ourselves. Only reason I gave 4, instead of 5 stars is because there was no binder to say how to do anything or how things work. The tv did have a cheat sheet that we tried to follow at least 5 times & could never get it to work. Netflix would’ve been nice. Lol. Owell, it made us get out more! :) ##### Breanna G. A mile away from the Heavenly Village and the complex is right on the lake. The host did an excellent job communicating with me regarding the reservation before and during the stay. I appreciate that tremendously. Someone met us at the property @4pm to make sure we got in ok (which was not necessary because all the check-in instructions were easy and well communicated, but appreciate the care anyway!). I got a text message during the stay to make sure everything is working out ok. My VRBO host did above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. I highly recommend this property. We had 11 ppl staying, at first I was concerned about 2.5 bathrooms but somehow it all worked out and nobody complained about not having enough bathroom. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all supplies, the beds were comfortable and had enough blankets. We would definitely stay here again next time in South Lake Tahoe. While they were good features, these were more than offset by the filthy bedroom, carpets, and all three bedrooms, and the extensive deferred maintenance.
