"Very nice property recently updated and well stocked for all your needs. Offers a great opportunity to experience the undeveloped Outer Banks and Lower East NC areas in a relaxed and serene environment. We enjoyed being off the beaten path a bit to unplug and unwind (but still had technology available!). Great for fishing or kayaking from the backyard. Enjoyed day trips to Harkers Island, Morehead, and Ocracoke via ferry just up the road. DG store located a couple miles north for most essentials while there. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had a couple small items we need help with at check in and they were easy to get in touch with and helped us right away. We recommend hosts and this property for those that want a peaceful getaway in a beautiful area of North Carolina!"

"The property is gorgeous!! It was well stocked and there was delicious home made banana bread waiting for us. The owners left great instructions, restaurant, and local store guides. Everything that we needed was easy to find. It is minutes from the Great Island Ferry. We will be back! "
