We stayed at Hyatt Place Mystic in April and had a very nice stay. Clean room, nice breakfast buffet each morning and was conveniently located to easily get to all the attractions the area offers.

Although room was modern/renovated, it had a dirty window (some film/residue) and a smell, iron was broken (leaked water), construction was going on in Lobby while we were there, breakfast was average. Did not find reception/staff to be overwhelmingly receptive/friendly.

We loved that there were gluten free options for breakfast unlike many other hotel breakfasts. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Great location as well.

Room was small compared to the Orlando property. The breakfast options were very limited. The staff was very friendly and the map provided with the dining options, convenience stores and the likes was very helpful.

Hyatt Place was beautiful! The suite was perfect for our needs. There were some renovations going on on the first floor but the workers were respectful and we could not hear the work in our third floor room. Breakfast was included and good, buffet style. Our only complaint is the shower head did not provide a lot of pressure. Everything else was fantastic!

The staff was great.. The hotel was under construction. I’m sure once it is completed it will be beautiful. I’ll stop back at that point.

We booked this hotel as it had a swimming pool. On arrival we were informed it was closed as it was outdoors and therefore out of season. Clearly this needs to be highlighted on both Expedia and the hotels website. False advertising. The walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor does or says. The in room water is a WHOPPING $5 per bottle. I have no idea it has been in the room. This is absolutely ridiculous considering the price we paid for the room. I will not stay here again. Finally there are renovations going on during our stay (16 March). It would have been nice to be informed of this fact before we booked. Not happy room 225.

I did want to inform you that our website does state the pool is an outdoor pool, and for the renovation happening on property is posted on your confirmation email you would have received when booking. I do apologize that you could here the other parties while in your room I will bring this up to the team and see if there is any solution we can come up with to correct this issue.

We drove from Plymouth mass to Mystic to check in at the hotel, and we told him we got to the counter that the room that we had reserved and already paid for did not exist because they were in the middle of renovations. We asked why we were not notified before our arrival the person checking us in had no response. We canceled our reservation and she provided us with a handwritten note saying that we would be refunding our money, but also explained that she had never dealt with a cancellation due to fault on the part of the hotel before, so would need me to speak to managers on Monday

When we arrived, someone had used the bathroom and left a little surprise for us in the toilet. Used soap left in the shower. Maybe they forgot to clean the bathroom?!
