It was a good hotel for a very last minute booking. Staff was nice. Area in and out of hotel was clean. Room was a good size, clean, and had a good view.

Modern hotel near center of CB
Pretty good hotel, walking distance to center, good breakfast. No COVID restrictions were followed by the staff, and a false fire alarm in the middle of the night made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

Restaurant, bar, lobby bar all closed. Mini-bar cancelled. They could add vending machines at least instead. Bread with mold on breakfast. Room standard is really good.

Good stay in Ceske Budějovice
Overall good hotel to stay. We had our room in 13th floor with perfect view of the whole city and directly view of the old town. Room is a bit small, enough to feel comfort, bed and pillow are soft. Breakfast was good, variety of choices, especially for dessert. We love the restaurant and had amazing dinner there, portions were great and food was tasty. Cocktails were good too.

Standard four star hotel, air con worked well
It's a pretty standard Eastern European four star hotel. I choose as was air conz and that worked well. There is a bit of noise from rooms next door and above, but not too bad. I didn't appreciate breakfast being put back from 630am to 7am, about 20 people waiting at 7am which is not useful in a pandameic.

The worst hotels.com booking.
This is hotel, which in the area is the only international recognised company was the worst i have ever stayed while being a hotels.com account holder. Where do i start. i arrvied at the hotel, they didn't have my booking, the rude woman at the reception had the attitude of a 15 year old girl, claiming i was lying about my reservation. I have travelled all over the world and never seen such horrific customer service from a 4* hotel. once that was finally sorted with a 30 minute phone call to hotels.com which thankfully fixed it, i got to my room, the room's radiator must have been on all day it was at least 28 degress in there, so i went to turn on the air conditioning which didnt work, i went to open the window which only opened up the slightest bit but the gap was so close to the wall that it didn't make any sort of difference, so naturally what do i do? i try to call reception, to my suprise the phone also doesnt work. At this point i am furious but so tired ( it was more or less 10:30pm ) that i just accepted it, next thing i go to the toilet the toilet literally stunk like old chicken, it was a horrible rotten smell and it was physically making me feel sick. to think they wanted 83 of my hard earned euros is an absolute disgrace. The following morning breakfast, Poached eggs were dry the bacon was like rubber and coffee was just water with a little coffee added to it. One of the worst stays of my life, absolutely avoid at all costs PLEASE.

We stayed on a high floor room so the view from the room was good. Everything was good, but the air-con leaks, so the floor was wet. The parking fee was free.

It was great except for the bus loads of tours from China every nt.... Took over the elevators and the breakfasts in the morning... Very rude... Also the bike tours were allowed to park their bikes in lobby... In morning it was so congested... They should have been told to take them outside.

The Hotel was well organised, clean and tidy with good food and helpful staff. However as a bus load of us arrived for a Conference there were only 2 staff on duty, so check in was very slow. This could have been better organised as they were expecting large numbers.

the room is small,looks like Japanese-style business hotel. not bad, not good... this hotel seems not very old (about 5~7 years, I guess) service is good, free one bottle sparkling water and free one plate of fruit everyday. This hotel is the only one big/high building in Ceske Budejovice region. This is the reason why i chose it.

Great value for money
Great location and parking at the hotel is very convenient. Good view from the 11th floor across the city. The restaurant offers a wide choice of local and international cuisine. Breakfast is also very good. Staff are very helpful and speak multiple languages.

Excellent "international style" hotel
Modern highrise international hotel with all of the usual amenities. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nondescript neighborhood, but the Old Town district and Budvar Brewery are both five minute drives away. My one (minor) quibble is the use of foil pouches for the shampoo and bath gel that are next to impossible to open without scissors. Otherwise, all was fine.

Perfect Position
My husband and I stayed here while we explored the gorgeous countryside around this part of The Czech Republic. We have only positive comments to make about the hotel, its position, its staff at reception, and in the breakfast restaurant and the cleanliness of the room. The quality and variety of breakfast was excellent. A big plus was parking facilities which were ample: given it was summer we never had a problem finding a space in the car park. Easy access to the freeway to go further south without getting caught in traffic was another benefit. We will stay here again and have already recommended it to other friends.

New hotel in a quiet town....
The hotel is new and the room is clean. But the town is almost dead. Seriously, the guests staying there are mainly tourists making their trips to Cesky Krumlov. The town has the biggest square in the whole of Czech, that accentuates the quietness of the town.

Good quality hotel
Basically has everything you need, very clean room and comfy bed; a big single mattress would be an improvement but is not common in Czech Republic. Staff were very friendly and the overall quality of the establishment was great. Definitely recommend it if you're in Ceske Budejovice.

pay for fresh coffee at breakast!
Their coffee comes out of a machine, it's liquid coffee that gets hot water added. Bitter, acidic and tasteless. I said: 'That's bad coffee'. 'I know' said the restaurant manager. I asked for fresh coffee. 'You have to pay for it,' she said. 'Company policy.' So if you want bad coffee at breakfast, stay here. Then they refused to give me the email address of the manager to complain!!! I asked if they wanted me to write this on there. They said nothing, but continued to ask for extra money. So beware! No pride in a restaurant here, no flexibility or making the customer feel good, and no decent coffee for breakfast! Shame on you, Clarion!

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Breakfast
The hotel is very comfortable with wonderful beds and views of the city from the top floors that are spectacular. The bathroom even has a large picture window with a view of the city, wonderful! The location is an easy tram or bus trip from the train station and then just a few minutes walk right to the center of town. The front office staff are so friendly and helpful and mostly speak English. It's a lovely small city to explore and an easy 50 minute bus ride to Cesky Krumlov so I would recommend staying at the Clarion Congress and doing day trips.

Very nice hotel for the money. Used the hotel as a jumping off point for a visit to Ceske Krumlov. Worked well. Free internet and surprisingly good breakfast. Clean, efficient room.

Great value with friendly staff
Although the room was small, the layout was extremely efficient. The brewery restaurant associated with the hotel had great food and excellent value. Front desk staff were friendly and willing to assist with detailed travel directions including printing google maps and locations for small towns we wanted to visit.

A recently remodeled hotel. The rooms are clean but are small. If I were to stay here again, I would definitely go with a bigger room as it would make the stay more enjoyable. The location isn't great but it isn't bad either. The price though was phenomenal.

This hotel is not as advertised! Our room did not have air conditioning (as billed), the furnishings were very old, the bathroom was tiny, and the breakfast was bad (stale breads).
