My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this cabin. This is the third time we've been to hocking hills and the first time in the winter. We did some hicking and got some great pictures. We loved the spa tub after a long hiking day. We will bookmark this place for future stays.
The cabin was rustic and cozy with everything we needed. The road was like driving in a dream, with snow covered trees and icicles galore and a babbling brook beside it. The scenery was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. The cabin was tucked up a hill and I would recommend 4 wheel drive but worth the view and privacy! We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely, well equiped cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting
Beautiful preserve, but close to other Hocking Hills attractions. A shout out to Stormy for being so helpful.

Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing.
The location is fantastic. The cabin was a great size for 2 people. We had all of the necessary items in the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean. Needs extra blankets and towels. Great communication with host.

Very nice and relaxing getaway.
Having a private cave to plan my proposal in was great. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the vintage antiquity gives it a nice rustic touch .

Great location & private
House is very rustic, but comfy. Loved the front porch. The cave was very cool & the sound of the nearby creek was soothing. Highly recommend the chocolate covered strawberries, they were amazing!

This was our baby-moon. The location is incredibly secluded and quiet. It was justv what we needed. The hot tub was incredible. The bed was very comfortable. Would have been nice to have a few extra blankets. Proximity to the main trails was really great. There are also a few hidden gems on the property when we didn't feel like getting in the car!

A nice quiet stay.
The area, and fireplace. Only negative was there were 3 dead mice under the couch in a trap that began to smell.

Amazing
Such a great off grid vacation. The coffee pot could be bigger, and the bed on less of a slant and We did have to clean the hot tub intake from hair and lint so it worked better. But other than those things it was amazing. Please bring slippers or flip flops to keep the sand and gravel out of the hot tub since you have to walk on the drive way to get to it.

Can't wait to go back, to much outdoors to still explore!
Very nice, rustic yet clean. The property its self is truly a natural wonder. I do suggest a few things for those who are staying there. First the directions could be a little more simple. ( follow Amerine Rd. until it dead ends) Second, pack DVD's while there is a TV and Blue Ray player, there is no satellite service. Other than that, We enjoyed our little getaway and will be back in the summer when we can truly explore the property. Personal cave was a nice touch.
We stayed for 2 nights and even though it rained the majority of the time we still had a great time. We were able to have a fire outside as the cave and trees blocked most of the rain. Same thing for the hot tub, which has pergola. We also enjoyed our evenings with a fire inside. The cabin is very welcoming and cozy. It was really nice to escape all the hustle and relax for a weekend. I would recommend this to anyone.

A much needed getaway in the hills
We love the rustic authenticity of the cabin It is so warm and inviting So peaceful to sit on the porch and read a book or by the cave roasting hot dogs Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was MUCH needed to soothe our aching legs and feet Nothing but the sounds of nature and the breeze blowing in the trees Our second trip to the Cabin, definitely won’t be our last! Our only issue was I had to clean the oven due to a previous guest who boiled something over and it smoked ALOT
