Location made it easy to get down town and out of town. Privacy fences made it feel like there we no neighbors at all. Charming house with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. This house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a big hit with our crew, especially after long days walking on campus and going to the football game. The property manager was in frequent contact to ensure our stay was going well. We booked with Todd based off of the reviews, and the home and host did not disappoint. The sun room was our favorite part of the home, and the hot tub was a close second. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the host provides firewood which was an amazing bonus. The owner was very responsive and was even understanding when something was accidentally broken. It was our first time in South Bend and we didn't leave the house all weekend! If we are ever back in town, we would definitely stay here again. The hot tub was hot and the grill worked, having four bedrooms was awesome and the Nespresso machine was great every morning. Also having an abundance of towels was a huge plus with the hot tub and daily towel use. the outdoor entertainment area was fantastic. The kitchen stove and cabinets could use updating. The drawers were difficult to pull out. But otherwise the house was in great condition, especially given the date it was built. We are not familiar with the South Bend area. Although the house was close to the university and the sports fields we were attending; it was also very close to a not as great part of town. Overall, we would recommend for a young family who isn't looking to be walking around the neighborhood. Grocery was not close either. ##### Crystal P. The listing is as described—a clean and comfortable house. Check-in was very easy—I received an email and text two days prior with the door code and instructions. The beds were comfortable, and the provided towels were plush. The outdoor patio is a nice place to hang out. We didn't use the hot tub, but I looked in it, and it was clean and ready to be used. The firepit was set up with wood and ready to use. We had a few questions during our stay, and my texts to the host were replied to very quickly. The hosts are clearly invested in providing a five-star experience and did so for our stay. We would absolutely stay here again. ##### Ben S. The house was a well-kept beautiful home with all the accommodations we needed. We were able to enjoy the all-seasons room even in the cold January weather. There were also nice amenities like the downstairs game room and hot tub that made our down time at the house enjoyable. There were plenty of towels and other supplies and Todd made himself available via text to address any issues. Check in and check out were seamless. The property was less than a 10 minute drive from the Notre Dame campus in a safe neighborhood. We would gladly stay at the property again on our next trip to town. ##### Matt L. We really enjoyed staying at this house and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The host was very easy to communicate with and always answered questions right away and checked in with us during our stay to ensure there wasn't anything we needed. The location was great and near so many local attractions, as well as the downtown area. We enjoyed the hot tub every nite (and the teenager among us used it even more.) The fire pit was perfect for a night of making s'mores. There are many games (for all ages) and there were 4 bikes were available as well. There were plenty of towels for all of us, with plenty of extras. This house worked out perfect for our group of 8\. Would definitely stay here again if we vacation in South Bend.
