The property is calm . Food is not as expected for a five star property neither services, they have a delicious fruit salad. Lotfi on the bar was so friendly and helpful as well as Najeh. Expected more from other departments.

Déçu par la réception et la propreté de la suite.
C'est mon deuxième séjour dans l hôtel: Un accueil très froid, malgré que j'ai accès prioritaire via expédia. Une heure d'attente sans même nous proposer quelques chose a boire. J ai réservé une suite, au moment d y ariver j'ai trouvé la suite non faite. Je suis revenu a la réception et réclamer, j ai eu droit a une réponse froide (on a cru que vous voulez juste déposer vos bagages...) on vous promet qu'on va refaire votre suite. On est aller déjeuner puis retourner a la réception pour prendre la carte de la chambre, on a eu la même chambre (une chambre familiale pas une suite) aucun service de suite (ni peignoir ni chausson, ni machine a café, ni une bouteille d eau, ni un corbeille de fruits .... ) Malgré un premier sejour excellent celui ci est très décevant.

The hotel is overrated and like most of 5 star hotels in Tunisia doesn't deserve their 5 star. The AC is not working at all in most of the hotel. The reception is very hot you can't stay there for 5 minutes. You pay very high price but the quality of the service is very low. The food is disgusting. They closed the restaurant a la carte. Only a disgusting buffet. You pay very high price then you don't find a place to stay at the beach if you come late. There is no staff there to help. Only some bootlicker for the foreigner tourists.

It was horrible in every aspect, the reception staff were disrespectful and unprofessional when it comes to critsisim, the restaurant is so bad till that we questioned of is it a 5 star hotel, the fact that he served my wife raw fish at lunch and then proceeded to do the same at dinner made me confirm that this hotel is really that bad, other than that the overall food quality was poor, when it comes to room service it is poor, the AC does not work and we were 3 people ( my wife me and my son ) we asked for a bed and he said no there is no beds we can give ( to replace it with the couch ) and then me and my son were going through the hall and we found that there is certain people that got the bed and we did not, also we did not have a kettle in day 1 it took two days just to deliver a kettle, overall wise if you wanna stay at Barcelo don't and save your money The indoor swimming pool is a mess the smell and the color of the pool is enough i don't wanna dive deeper into the description or i will cause internal vomiting for the reader Fun fact mini bar is out of service, we told the reception and they do not care and they did not just disrespect me and my family many other families that were in the reception got disrespected using slurs To sum it up this is how your first day in Barcelo would usually go like: no help with the luggage, one hour of waiting in the reception, cry cause the food is that bad, cry cause the AC does not work, and trust me things will get worse.

Aucune prise en compte du statut VIP (les 20% au spa ont été négocié directement). Les chambres ne sont pas du niveau d’un hôtel 5 hôtels (un coussin catastrophique, une couette pour 3 personnes, pas de peignoir, de chaussons,… Le personnel était totalement désintéressé de la situation. Nous avons eu des couettes et un seul coussin après plusieurs réclamations. Le personnel du Spa est par contre excellent.

The only negative I have is one of the Bell hops keep asking me for money and my friend for money and buy him things. This was very shocking and I have stayed at this hotel before and never had this issue. Very disappointed in this matter.

Althought this is one of the best hotels in sousse, the service is very poor in general except for 2 kind gentelmans, lotfi at the reception bar and issam at the pool bar, most of employees seems unhappy and make a huge effort to offer an ordinary service, this is my second stay in this hotel and before corona it was much better, management is poor, registration is disorgonized, i won't recommand anyone to stay here for now, if you are planning a trip in the area it would be much better to rent a villa near the beach.
