We were very pleased with this nice and neat hotel. The staff was very friendly. We had a nice room. Although it was a good climb to our room we enjoyed the trip. The reception girls where very helpfull. The food was good and we liked the breakfast. We would recommend this hotel especially if you are going on a honeymoon to book this hotel in St.Lucia.
We stayed only 3 nights but are planning to return next year for a whole week. Thanks to the staff for being so nice and helpfull.

The location could not be better, the views are amazing. You have your own pool with incredible views. Drawback: there's only one restaurant and access to the Beach is through nearby Sugar Beach Resort (Stonefield provides 3 shuttles a day, free of charge, and Sugar Beach is awesome, you can scuba dive, snorkel, kayak, sail, etc.) You have to take taxis to move around or rent a car. Be mindful they drive on the opposite side and the roads are very narrow and winding, people walk on the shoulders and there are animals roaming free.

I had a deluxe bedroom facing the city. Taking in the view from the balcony was nice -- The city and the old church with mountains in the back drop.
Don't expect too much from the actual room (#2). A mini fridge, bathroom, tv, A\C. There were two beds. One was a double, the other a king. The box spring on the double was broken. I almost fell off when I say down on it! I wasn't expecting much, and wasn't disappointed; It was just a place with a roof over my head.
The reception staff was above and beyond accommodating and always friendly.
the staff in the restaurant area was unbelievably slow. They were friendly and helpful, but at one point, we saw no one in the restaurant area for 20 minutes. It was disappointing.
the view is wonderful! The pool was clean!
The beach access is public, so be prepared to be accosted by locals to buy something, donate money or take an excursion with them. They ALL come up to you.
I had an un-air conditioned room, which we chose. It was what we expected. They do have tall floor fans in those rooms, so it was not unbearable. There is a mosquito net over the bed, but we did still get bit up a little bit.
The bathroom could use some updating and some love. The only complaint I had about the room is that when I turned the bathroom faucet on, tiny little bugs ran out from the levers. I sprayed a ton of bug spray on them and the sink and did not see them again.
A sleepy fishing village with an emerging tourist industry on the island’s southwest coast, Soufriere boasts several attractions. Among them include Sulphur Springs, a “drive-in” volcano, the Diamond Botanical Gardens with waterfall (featured in “Superman II”), historic mineral baths, and nearby black sandy beaches. South of town are the Pitons, two volcanic mountains and a World Heritage site.
