The pool is fantastic and we hardly felt the need to leave the property as the children entertained themselves and it is perfect for relaxing, being so tranquil. The nearby river beach was fun too. "Onze week in deze woning : de ontvangst was prettig. Na aankomst bleek dat de wasmachine nier werkte. Dit bleek bij de eigenaar bekend. Een oplossing bleek er niet te zijn. Jammer. Verder waren veel lampen stuk.niet zo gezellig . Wat wij misten was de “finishing touch “ bij alles. Midden in de week zat er een gat in de muur naar de keuken waar we nog net een muis konden waar nemen. Op zich een mooi verblijf, maar het had met een beetje moeite wat gezelliger kunnen zijn."

The house is located in a tranquil area in a small town and is perfect get away for people who want to enjoy the french country side in peace and quite. The area is good for walks and visiting small villages. The house and pool are great and surrounded by a big private garden. "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "

"We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "
