Fabulous Sorrento hotel

Posted 04-May-2016
This is a fabulous hotel in the centre of Sorrento and very close to the sea. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very traditional and kept immaculate. It has a beautiful rooftop pool and sitting area with lovely views over the coast and mountains. Would definitely recommend!!!

A fantastic central location, couldn't be better!

A brilliant hotel, the restaurant was a little uninspiring in terms of lighting and decor in the evening, it didn't do the hotel justice.

Very close to the Marina!

Posted 23-Apr-2016
Beautiful hotel and it is right on the Marina. Breakfast was very good. The internet connection was not good. The connection was dropping very frequently. That is the only issue we experienced. Otherwise, we had a good time at this hotel!

First Class hotel in Sorrento

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: Lovely hotel, good position, excellent facilities, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Cons: Not being great fish eaters, we would have liked a slightly broader dinner menu, perhaps with some chicken main dishes.
Location: Well situated within a maximum of 5 mins from the centre and 10 m ins from the train/bus/coach station.
Grand Hotel La Favorita is an excellent 5 star modern hotel close to the centre of Sorrento. The ambience reflects it's 5 star rating as do all the staff, the bedrooms, the wonderful roof-top terrace and swimming pool whilst the food is best quality and, for a 5 star hotel, fair value. We had a wonderful 7 day stay and happily recommend the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. Great location. The staff was kind and very accommodating. Room service was great. The housekeepers did a wonderful job as well. The breakfast in the morning was good. Their only downfall was their Internet connection. It was slow and difficult to continuously try to reconnect.

Beautiful hotel in ideal location

Posted 17-Apr-2016
Pros: The peace and quiet. The beautiful decor.
Cons: tea and coffee facilities in the room - such a pain not to have.
Location: central but quiet some larger tours don't pick up from the hotel as it is down a narrow street but just over a 5minute walk to the pick up point
The decor of this hotel is stunning. It's location is perfect for tour pick up locations, access to the port, access to the old streets full of shops. You are in the centre of a real italian town but also in a quiet location full of birds and lemon trees. It is an ideal base for exploring the whole area.

Fantastic View of Mt Vesuvius and Mediterranean.

Posted 16-Apr-2016
Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: Na
Location: Centrally located to shopping restaurants and water. Quiet off the main streets.
Booked two rooms (4 travelers). We all had Water views. Very nice large rooms with balconies. It was the best stay on our Italy tour. Room decor is very original. Furniture showcased the local wood working art. Breakfast buffet was excellent as was the dinning and lounge areas. There is a nice patio and pool on the rooftop which must be nice in the summer. (our trip was in march and it was closed). Looking forward to returning to Sorrento in the future and we hope to stay here again. BTW: Check out their restaurant on the main street. It was a very good recommendation with exceptional ambience. Chow.

Beautiful hotel, lovely locations, excellent staff

Posted 14-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything!
Location: Grand Marina - restaurant at the far end of the marina, Bagni di Delfino. Really lovely.
We chose this hotel because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the right choice. The staff were lovely and extremely attentive. Front desk helped us with boat times, softer pillows (my husband is fussy!) and even let us check in early. The room was huge and beautifully decorated with a little sea view once you were on the balcony - 142). Breakfast was really tasty and every single member of staff around the hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended. It's location is also great - a short walk to the Grand Marina (leave hotel, turn right and then walk down the road to the left (running alongside the Bellevue Syrene).
