The rooms do not have AC as they claim. They have a table top fan. Hardly sufficient space to sit on toilet. The shower spray water all over. No place to hang towels to dry.

Very central position. Easy to walk all round the wonderful old city. Lots of restaurants all few minutes walk. Hotel had reduced price with nearby car park. City had a music festival the first night which was great (though did go on till about 3am!). Ran out of croissants on second morning

Room was clean and a fan was provided, which was wonderful as the temperatures were warm. Our room was on the street side above a bar, which was quite loud late into the evening.

Great Location
This hotel is in a great location. We had free parking for our motorbike and didn't need to use it while we were there, it's within walking distance of everything . The price was good and the breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and friendly and we would definitely use the hotel again if in Tours.

I did not get her name, but the beautiful mademoiselle working the reception was so kind and helpful and spoke English pretty well. She gave us helpful tips, directions and recommendations. We were worried about the train strike in France and arriving late to our next destination. She kindly called our hotel in Caen to let them know we were arriving late. We stayed only 1 night on our way to Caen but I enjoyed my time in Bordeaux. It felt clean, safe, vibrant and youthful. The hotel itself is in an older building so it's a bit dated and the bathroom could use some remodeling but for the price and location it was perfect for us.

Good location and warm hospitality
The location was easily accessible to shopping, dining and the station. I could enjoy sightseeing in the city and make one day tour to Chenonceau and Amboise during my staying in Tours. All of staffs were very kind and warm with high quality of hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great Hotel Great Value
The hotel was great for a family vacation. We were able to get a family room with a queen and two singles. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing I would say was that I wish the breakfast was included. It was 8 euro for the breakfast which I think was a bit too expensive for what you got.

Central and friendly but small rooms
It's hard to find as it's in a one-way street in the centre of the city, but there.s underground parking next door. Handy location for everything. Double room was very small but quiet and clean, with good wifi. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel close to everything
The hotel is within easy walking distance from the train and downtown area. It is small but quite friendly and very accommodating and clean. It was a rare opportunity to find a room that would accommodate my husband and I and our college age son without a heavy price to pay. Our two-night stay was comfortable and close to good restaurants, shops and transportation. I would recommend it to a friend and would stay there again.

This hotel was in a great location and easy to find with a few directions from google. Close to the old town and train station, the staff were very friendly and the room clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Really convenient central location in Tours
Up to the usual high standard of Logis de France hotels. Clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Right in the shopping area (next to Monoprix) and a short walk from restaurants and historic centre.

Solid little hotel
Stayed on night here on the way down to Bordeaux. Hotel is clean and friendly. Breakfast was decent. We had 4 in our room : 2 adults, 2 kids, 10 and 7. For fine. Good location close to the shopping and old district.

Great city centre location
Once I found the hotel all was well. They have changed the one way system nearby so your satnav may become confused, but just find the other end of Rue de Clocheville behind the police station which links to Gambetta. Parking for motorcyclists is good as there are security hoops for a chain across the street. Car drivers will need to use public car parks (check with the hotel as they have an arrangement with one of them). Once checked in I found my room to be very good. I was on floor 3 with a balcony and had a great view across the city roof tops. Room facilities are good and the bed was comfy. Once on foot, the central location makes exploring the city very easy. The breakfast was good. No restaurant but that is not a problem as everything from fast food to gourmet meals are available in nearby restaurants. I found the city a very pleasant place to be in the evening, with bars & restaurants to suit all tastes.

The hotel had all the required amenities and a good staff. The breakfast is adequate and the room was clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of the main train station, the downtown square and all the sights of the town. Would stay here again without question.

Nice budget hotel in city center
Stayed at Hotel des Chateaux for several days during a French language course. I found the hotel clean and the staff helpful. The hotel is on a quiet street very convenient to area shopping, sites, restaurants, and the train station for day trips. I would recommend this hotel.

Well run two star hotel with helpful staff. About fifteen minutes walk from the station.Bathroom fittings new and all spotless.No air conditioning but a fan provided and with a nine foot high ceiling no hardship. The bar area downstairs offers hot drinks and spirits but no wine-unexpected to find this in the middle of France. Breakfast is cold buffet and fesh cheese as opposed to processed would be welcome.A guide to television channels would also be welcome. An excellent hotel and I would go there again.

Comfortable overnight stay.
My husband, my 10 year old son and I stayed here for one night in August. We found the hotel easily and there was underground parking next door, although the hotel can direct you to cheaper parking nearby. Reception was very helpful in supplying a map and directing us to reasonably priced restaurants. There was also free wi-fi. We had a triple bedded room - a double and a single. There was plenty of space. It was a warm night and we slept with the patio doors open and blind closed. This was fine until the binmen came at about 6am.....noisy. The bathroom was huge, clean and well equipped. A lovely shower over a bath and a toilet in a separate cubicle. We did not have the breakfast and so cannot comment. Check out was simple and reasonably priced. There is a cafe opposite and a supermarket/department store a few doors along. It is a short walk to the town centre, old town, river etc. We would recommend this hotel if you wish to see Tours.

Room was small, basic, adequate, and very clean, but nothing special. Funky decorating - just like they advertise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good within easy walking distance of the train station and old central city.

Great base for touring the Loire Valley
This hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, and was excellent value for money. It is cozy, not spacious, but is quiet and restful. The breakfast is adequate without being spectacular. The location is very central to all parts of Tours, and close enough to the surrounding main roads that it is very easy to take day trips in any direction. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, although communication (in our case at least) was best conducted in 'Franglais' - if you know no French at all then unusual situations might be tricky to deal with.
