This is 100 yrs old building and they just did the remodeling and it was poorly done and didn’t finished the right way. You can hear next room’s conversation in the one side and the other side is snoring at the night. There is no water pressure at all. Moreover The shower doesn’t have hot water so if it’s too cold take shower after 5mins, if it’s in winter, forget about taking shower. The window is oldest single payne (?) so you can hear traffic from the street. There is no insulation on the wall. The stuff was nice enough to change the room after we had so many problems at the first place. Friendly staff but poor building. The location is the close to the down town so you can get drunk and not worry about driving.

Lovely old historic building with great energy and friendly staff. Within walking distance of shops and great eats. Parking was a little off-site, but not horrible. Will definitely be back!

everyone was super friendly. Rashida went out of her way to help us learn about some area landmarks and Shuckery owner Jazmine was also super friendly and helpful. We had a blast.

Great spot. The only thing that wasn’t great was the parking situation. Street parking that has limited timeframes. To be able to park and not worry about moving your car first thing in the morning you have to park about 3 blocks away in a residential neighborhood.

Reception girl was the sweetest but parking sucks here. The bar attracts people drinking in the court yard late, keep us up. And the heating unit in rooms is horrible.

Cute boutique hotel. Clean, safe, hospitable staff. Parking can be annoying because there aren't a lot readily available around the hotel. They offer parking passes but those can be limited. Otherwise, great location as it's very walkable.

Lovely place. Convenient French bakery, wine bar & lobby bar all located inside. They told us our wall heater was not working upon checkin but a small heater was in the room which was just okay as it was a cold, wet weekend that we were there. Very limited parking. With that said; however, we would definitely stay there again.

Get's the job done
Walking in to the hotel - I felt welcomed by staff and the cozy fire in the massive fireplace. We stowed our bags in our room and came back down to the lounge for a pre-dinner cocktail. Staff were friendly and efficient and the fire was wonderful on our stormy night. After dinner we returned to our room - it initially seemed clean and tidy but upon closer inspection (and lights) the grime and lack of attention to details in the renovation showed through. The bed was hard and linens scratchy - I was super thankfully to have brought my own pillow. I should have guessed we would be in for a loud night when I found the earplugs on each side of the bed, but the noise was still mildly troubling, especially from the room below us with the blaring TV. Thankfully the folks at the front desk responded to complaints and got the volume turned down. Road noise carried through all night despite our location facing the courtyard. I wished for a cozier room with comfier bed - overall the room got the job done and the staff were very pleasant, but nothing to rave about.

Updated historical building in the heart of downtown. I loved that the vintage window in the bath opened to the courtyard. Will definitely be returning for another stay to take advantage of the courtyard and lobby bar atmosphere which was alight with folks enjoying a festive happy hour.

Can’t wait to come back!
This hotel was so cute! The location is perfect for downtown Petaluma but we honestly didn’t want to leave the hotel! There was a bar in the lobby and you could sit by the fireplace and enjoy happy hour and small bites. It was decorated for Christmas which made it feel so festive and cozy. We can’t wait to come back and make this a holiday tradition!

Most rooms face either the courtyard or the street. At night people are partying and loud in the courtyard until 11 pm and the street rooms are very loud also. When we went to check in there was no one at the front desk and we had to look for someone to check us in at 5 pm when they should have 2 people there.

The noise concern was due to the hotel having a community event, The Festival of Trees that brings a lot of the community and travelers to our hotel to help raise money for local businesses through a fundraiser. Please know the event did have an end time at 9 pm but definitely can understand that people can linger after. Please also know that we did have multiple staff members on shift but due to the large amount of people, they were assisting other guests at the time. Awesome stay, the expanded king room is definitely worth it. Great service and in the heart of downtown Petaluma. Only con is no real parking area, plenty of street parking though.

This is our third time staying here. It’s always a pleasure. Love the fireplace and The Shuckery restaurant next door is delicious. Parking can be a bit challenging if there’s an event at the hotel.

This historic hotel has wonderful public spaces including a fireplace to die for! We stayed in a room directly on the corner so road noise was extreme though the comfy beds made for a good night’s sleep. Sunday morning, the attached coffee shop was closed which was a surprise. Shuckery’s was excellent for dinner our first night.

Very short stay on our way through town for just one night's sleep. Great staff. We arrived quite late but staff was quick and bright eyed with recommendations and clear instructions. In the morning we walked to stelina Pronto for AMAZING pastries and coffee. Bed was VERY comfortable and room was mostly modern with a very cool historic feel. Outside noise can be heard from room, hard for light sleepers.

I asked for a quiet room and was put in a room that faces the street. It was so loud all night long the traffic never stopped. When I tried to call the front desk no answer. The t.v. did not work either until the morning. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
