Lovely, peaceful stay.
Lovely cabin cottages. Dated, but it was part of the charm and by no means a negative. Beautifully kept gardens and a very friendly and helpful hostess. The site is very close to town. Nice breakfast selections and convenient parking relative to the cabin.

The Good: 1. Great location 2. Charming grounds Opportunities: 1. Needs to be sprayed for spiders in room 2. Interior needs facelift. Add more 110 outlets. 70's style bathroom. 3. We assumed the spa cabin would include a shower.... didn't. 4. Not a good value for the price.

A perfect romantic get away
It”s a lovely place, with beautiful flowers and nice cottages, surrounded by fresh forest. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was wonderful and the food was delicious.

Great cottages in the Redwoods
We have stayed there before and it is always a great experience. The cottages are comfortable and they have a great pool. Good breakfast in the garden and we can take it to our rooms. Enjoyed my stay

Really enjoyed our stay. We had a relatively small cottage but with great big bath tub and all we needed really. The hosts were very kind and we actually enjoyed socializing by the fire pit. Scones were excellent.

Fern Grove Cottages are nestled among the redwoods trees, ferns, and a variety of flowering plants. The location of the cottages are centered from wineries and the Pacific coast. Family owned adds a closer connection with the ambience with homemade apricot scones and a glass of chardonnay, cheers.

Loved our stay!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The lush trees, garden, flowers, herbs and tomato garden, birds, the smell, the free breakfast, and coffee, the proximity to the beach is a short 10-15 minutes walk. 8-10 minutes walk to stores, restaurants, downtown Guerneville. Jenny, her mom, and the staff are nice and welcoming.

we loved everything about this place and owner . They humble , kind ,sweet and nice people . The place is very clean and near everything you possibly need! My partner left her jacket there and the owner called me the next day and ask for the address to mail it . That was super kind of her!

Nothing special about the cottages..They were small and very dated, as were the furnishings. The settings, nestled into the redwood trees and gardens was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful

The property was beautiful and rustic. I didn't enjoy the bed I felt like I was sliding off the side too much. I 'd recommend you have coffee packets that match the size of (4 cup)coffee pot. I would have liked the packets replaced on the second day I know because of covid and all you have to ask for everything it is a bit of a nuisance...We did grub hub and silverware was not included also I did not have anything to stir my coffee in the early morning.

Rustic Retreat
It’s very rustic & fun place to stay with interesting garden views. Pool was closed & no firewood for our fireplace but duro log provided. Friendly but needs a bit of refreshing & remodel honestly. Bathrooms not good. Showers Kinda a scary. But definitely rustic & good vibes overall :)

great cottages in Guerneville
A very nice set of cottages, beautifully landscaped, and friendly hosts. We had a great stay. Our kids loved the pool, which fortunately was open late into the season this year. The cottages are next to a big road, which can be a little loud at times, but also makes it really convenient to get into town and try the restaurants.

A Gem
We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful with gorgeous flowers and towering redwoods. The cottages are quaint and private. We were especially delighted by the large, clean saline pool. The service was outstanding. We asked for some utensils to use in the pool area and the next thing we know the owner comes out with a tray of amenities including a silver bucket of ice. If you are staying a couple of nights, check out Odyssey SUP rentals- fun!

I was really impressed with Fern Grove Cottages! The owners were warm, accommodating and went out of their way to make EVERYONE on the property feel welcome. I really appreciated the transparency and care, especially as businesses are trying to figure out how to operate during COVID. The grounds were exquisite-they've done an excellent job of creating a relaxing and peaceful environment with the lovely plant life. I stayed in cabin 18 and would definitely recommend this room if you're looking for something a bit more remote. We had beautiful views and the room was clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be back! Proximity to the main downtown area of Guerneville makes it a must return for me and the price was more than fair.

It is a quaint place in a tiny town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. But it is exorbitantly expensive. Also, the town is not very family friendly. I think it is much better to stay in Santa Rosa, which is about half an hour away.

This property was absolutely perfect! From the check in with the lovely owner to the coziness of the cottage. Loved the fireplace, bed was comfy, DVD player was a nice addition and the kitchenette was exactly what we needed. We showed up too tired to go out to eat, so stopped by Safeway (a block away) for cheese, fruit and crackers and had our delicious Korbel champagne that we had picked up from their winery on the way to the cottage. Wonderful time!

Best place for families
Fern Grove cottages is great vacation place for families, very spacious with kichern and living room. The hostess Jenny is very friendly and helpful to tell us the local attractions. And the breakfasts are fresh (tomatoes from her garden) and delicious
