The welcome at reception was unfriendly to say the least. Ladies in one week never improved. No smile, firm and not interested. Other staff like maids were great. No Restaurant for dinners, only the buffet . Was not impressed, however it was clean

Dear Mrs Maartman,We do apologize for not having been able to meet your expectations. Yes, lunch is a la carte and dinner is buffet as clearly stated on the hotel information so guests are suposed to know when booking. We are glad to know that at least you found the hotel to be clean and the maids great.

Friendliness of staff and the daytime and evening entertainment. Single room was very spacious and all meals had a wide choice. Property was extremely well kept and in a lovely position. Would recommend definitely. Lorraine Marr

Great all around stay!
My husband and I went with another couple and we all loved it! The nightly entertainment was amazing. They had game night, karaoke, bingo, and dancing night the nights we stayed. We ended up staying at in for the nightly entertainment. The location is also amazing with great restaurants all around! Not a far taxi ride to other beaches either. We also rented a car and parking outside was easy and free. They offer breakfast and dinner buffet, we had the breakfast and it was amazing. We ate at the hotel every morning. I recommend this hotel to anyone of any age!

Excellent location next to nature reserve
This hotel is family orientated which we knew as we used it only as a base to explore the local area. We were on a B&B basis so we are unable to comment on the evening meal. On our arrival we we informed that we were not expected until the next day, however the reception staff handled the problem very professionally and they arranged for us to stay at another hotel for that night. They provided us with a free lunch, slight room upgrade, free wifi and room safe. We found many restaurants within short walking distance fully recommend MAR y PAZ which has an international menu, ADVISE NOT TO GO TO "SA COVA". When having a meal you must have a local mallorcan wine which are easy drinking, light and floral. There is a local bus service bus stop just over the road where you can get the 352 to Alcudia old town at 1.8 € each. While there you must try the local beer which is brewed in the old town and served at Es Raco de Ronda. On our day of departure we were notified that we could partake of a cold breakfast for the early departure which was a pleasant surprise.

Just bad reception
We had a great staying at Son Baulo, full of activities, well cleaned, the staff knew how to handle our request to get a room with a view to the beach. But it just lost points on our check in, from the moment the receptionist asked us where we were from, which after we answer she kind of changed the speech and voice tone saying we should left our passports in the reception as a kind of deposit, some attitude I've never seen anywhere I've been before. One star less to them. The first impression is the one that is!!!

The hotel location is great if you want to relax on the beach and enjoy the nature, away from the city centre. The staff is very helpful and kind. We had 4 beds room and there was enough space for everyone. Amazing sea view from the balcony:) We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Close to the beach
It is just next to the beach. The bus stop to city center or airport is at the entrance of the hotel. Great location. Staffs are helpful. Don't expect too much on the breakfast.

A very chilled relaxing holiday.
A very pleasant hotel in a great location on the beach. Staff very helpful and entertainment good. Our only complaint was that the beds were not very comfortable. Overall the good things outweighed the bad, the hotel was very clean and the room service excellent.

Hotel Son Baulo-in a quiet area
The hotel is about 45 minutes from the main airport. It is right on the beach on a corner lot. You can lay out on the sand or rent two sunbathing beds with umbrella for 8.50 euros per day. We had half-board which was good, but not spectacular. The surrounding area is small, but nice. The beds feel cheap and the rooms could be updated (TV was new and descent size). The bathroom lighting was very bad. The air conditioning is only on from around 1:00 p.m. to about 07:00 in the morning. Between those times the rooms can get warm. Parking is very limited around the hotel if you rent a car. There is no internet available in the rooms.

Excellent value for the money and great service
Our initial impression of the hotel wasn't great as it was a bit differrent from what we expected. However, this changed within the following days after seeing how good the staff are and how clean the place was maintained. We are young family with an infant and we had all the things we needed for a good relaxing nice and comfortable holiday in the sun. The rooms are really good size, the beds were very good too. There was not TV, fridge or kettle in the room, but we didn't mind. We only asked for a kettle to boil water for the baby's milk and for sterilising the bottles - it was provided without a charge straight away. The airconditioning did help a lot as it get really warm during the day and in the evening. In short, we recommend the Son Baulo hotel and we loved our stay there.

Everything perfect
The situation is the best of the Bay. The hotel is a 3 stars, no luxury, but good food, confortable rooms, beach on your doorstep, swimming pool and gardens very well kept. Service, location and prices 10/10

Ok hotel og buffet. Dog lidt irriterende man skal betale ekstra hvis man vil have adgang til køleskab og safety box, det koster ikke det store men man skal jo bruge tid på at få det åbnet. Beliggenheden er fin i udkanten af byen og strand virkelig fin.

Hotel con buena ubicación y playa al lado
El hotel está muy bien situado, se puede aparcar bien y hay una playa magnífica al lado. El desayuno buffet es bastante bueno con cocinero que prepara al momento tortillas y huevos de forma rápida y ágil. La habitación es amplia pero algo antigua. Fallos como no dar champú o mini neceser con pasta de diente, ya que tienes que ir al super a comprártelo para 3 días. La recepción muy correcta en el trato. Por el precio merece la pena.

Das Zimmer war OK, aber ab 5.30 Uhr Morgens gab es immer laute Geräusche vor dem Fenster. Frühstück und sehr preiswertes Abendessen super. Service auch gut, Jeder spricht Deutsch und/oder Englisch.

Wir haben unser ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick in die Dünen sehr genossen. Wurden bei Sonnenaufgang vom Geschnatter der Enten am nahegelegenen See sanft geweckt. Frühstücksbuffet englisch - deftig. Ideale Basis für Wanderungen im Naturschutzgebiet und für Spatziergänge an der Strandpromenade. Wahnsinnig nettes Personal. Angenehme Atmosphäre, viele englische Pensionisten, nettes Abendprogramm, Abendbuffet zubuchbar, super Salate, wenig Gemüse, eher klassisch fleischbetonte Hauptgerichte. Nächstes Jahr wieder.

Schöne Lage
Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Am Hausstrand sind zahlreiche Liegen vorhanden. Fußläufig ist ein schöner Strand erreichbar, der hinter dem Hotel liegt und fast menschenleer ist, weil dort keine Strandliegen stehen. Außerdem ist der Playa de Muro innerhalb von 5 Autominuten zu erreichen und ist ebenfalls traumhaft schön. Die Lage vom Hotel ist generell für Ausflüge ein super Ausgangspunkt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Nebenort von Can Picafort. Bis Can Picafort läuft man ein Stück, wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Das Frühstück war für ein 3 Stern Hotel gut. Sehr deftig und dem britischen Geschmack angepasst - wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts die einzigen Deutschen, aber das war nicht weiter schlimm, wir sind morgens auch immer satt geworden. Hauptsächlich haben Briten hier Urlaub gemacht. Das Abendessen war abwechslungsreich, wir waren positiv überrascht! Das Buffet und der Essenssaal war nie zu voll. Abends ab halb 9 gibt es täglich Minidisco und ab 21 Uhr wird Bingo gespielt. Danach gab es abwechslungsreiche Live- Auftritte von diversen Bands / Komiker / Künstler. Wir fanden die Abendunterhaltung immer gut. Man kann sich abends drinnen, im Wintergarten oder draußen hinsetzen. Das Hotel bietet zudem viel Kinderbelustigung in Form von Spielautomaten etc.

Super gelegenes Hotel für eine Woche
Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dies hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Lage zum Strand ist unschlagbar und der Strand selber einfach top. Das Essensangebot ist eher für die englischen Gäste ausgelegt, daher nicht ganz empfehlenswert. Alles in allem aber ein super Urlaub für eine Woche.

Lugt af mug på værelset
Da vi kom var værelset ok til prisen. Døren ud til altanen var åben og der var fin lugt. Da vi kom tilbage efter aftensmaden havde døren været lukket og der var en kraftig lugt af mug og indelukket. Desværre kunne vi ikke have døren åben for udenfor var der opsamlingsplads for turister så busser gik i tomgang fra tidligt om morgenen. Morgenmaden var ok til prisen.
