"Rooms were clean but very outdated. Comforter on bed had a stain and there was barely anything for breakfast. Quick night ok to get back on road but that's it."

"The breakfast was pitiful and not what was advertised. The bathroom ceiling had spots of throughout. Lamps and picture frames were broken. Dead bugs were scattered around the perimeter of the room. Spider webs covered the corners of the room."

"The sleeping area itself was beautiful. It has a full sized bed and two twin beds. If you are not straight and white you will be off put by the confederate and other very political flags hanging from the house in the driveway. We did find some bullet casings in the grave next to our car so if you have little ones you might not want to let them walk around by themselves. Doug was very kind. It should be noted that he does have a live bobcat in a caged enclosure on property outside of the location you will stay in. My daughter loved taking pictures of it and it is safe and secure in the enclosure. If you have children that would be afraid of that, just heads up. The pond is not flowing water of any sort, we saw one fish but the water was very stagnant so don't think of it as a place you would want to swim. The trail is very pretty and right on the property but if in season watch out for the ticks and wear preventative clothing. The bed was comfortable. There are two tvs inside with some streaming channels. The shower also had nice hot water and water pressure. The issue at hand is I went with my daughter to a funeral (age 15) and my 13 year old son decided to come last minute. The host was aware that i said this was a possibility. He sent me a request for 30 extra dollars saying you had to pay 30 extra per guest. So if you have more than one child with you, even though there are three beds and two couches, just know he is going to send a message asking for more"

"Parking was fine. We didn’t eat any of the breakfast because of our schedule. Kudos to Felicia at the welcoming desk. She was awesome and personable, even though we really didn’t request or need any assistance from her in particular."

"This is the most horrid place EVER!!! It is filthy, old and run down. Holes in the bedspread, the chair was filthy, shower soap container falling off the wall.....the smell of our room was worse than a veterinary hospitals waiting room magnified by 10....wet dirty dog smell. I found a tick on the floor and it was the size of a kidney bean. There were dog kibbles around the edge of the carpet. They advertise complimentary breakfast, but there was NO coffee made, no eggs, no meat, and the juice and milk containers were empty. I would hardly call what was out breakfast. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. !!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure the building is used for homeless people."
