Room booked was to sleep 4. We walked into a king bed, no way it was sleeping four. The front desk made no effort to rectify the situation and indicated they were fully booked. I walked away and was able to book another room with double beds, then came back to check in for my second room and told the guy who just said they were fully booked that I had to get a second room because the accomadtions were not what was described to me, and he really didn’t care. Did not give any information or suggestions about the hotel. The buffet breakfast they offer is misleading. There is a sign at the restaurant that says “there is a charge if you bring the breakfast to go” it was set up like a free continental breakfast. No one was around to explain any of that, and looking back at the description it did not say breakfast was a charge. $20 per person for a continental breakfast. When we complained, none of the employees spoke English.
We were there for a dance competition that was hosted by this venue. They couldn’t even have coffee in the lobby. None of the ice machines on ANY floors, so we had to go down to the restaurant (that opened at 5 ) to get ice. Which was never communicated upon arrival. One elevator was broken & another bounced several times when the door opened. With all the people staying there and going up and down constantly, this also could have been communicated. There wasn’t even an out of order sign on there.
We hope we do not have to stay here again!
