More stain than star
The hotel itself is close to the convention center which is convenient. It’s got everything you need with a cosy bar and great breakfast buffet. If you have a room that looks out over the courtyard, you may want to reconsider opening the window: the noise from below reverberates up until late in the evening and starts up again when breakfast is laid out from about 5am. In my room there was a trunk that supposedly contains the duvet for the pull out couch bed. Thankfully the duvet on my bed wasn’t as stained as this!

The Staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area. Location next to the Mall allowed for trips to and from being very convenient. The breakfast in the Hotel was amazing with any and I mean any dietary need were was available. Parking availability unknown. Transportation was available.

Good as always
Livs up to the high standard I've come t o expect from Scandic in Sweden. I was here in the winter so it didn't bother me but my room didn't have a termostat which might not be great if you are staying here during the warmer months. I did also have to wait for around 15 minutes before I could find any staff at the breakfast buffet. This was on a Sunday and quite early in the morning. That being said, those are minor issues in my eyes and overall I am very satisfied and would come back.

Very cold in the public areas; lobby, bar and restaurant. Stayed for three nights, no cleaning at all. Catastrophy in the morning hours when hundereds of conference guests were aiming for the top floor sharing just a few elevators with the hotel guests; it took some twenty minutes to reach the hotel room after breakfast.

Good for families!
The hotel was superb with extremely nice staff. The pool area was also great for a family with kids. The only thing was that the bathroom was a bit dirty, and some dirt and an old box of crackers came from under the bath sink when it was emptied. Otherwise great!

Great location
Great location easy to get to Stockholm or Arlanda helpful staff nice modern clean rooms. Downside very noisy from trains and AC doesn't work enough to keep you cool.

Disappointing experience.
The staff in the check in was very unfriendly. “ALL rooms become available at 15:00” Definitely not willing to help. The light in the bathroom was broken. There was no shower gel in the shower (the bottle was empty) I would not recommend this hotel unless you need to stay in the área.

The only downside for a 5 day visit is that there were no storage drawers. I asked for and got some extra hangers but other things stayed in suitcases. Everything else was very good and all the restaurant and reception staff were helpful and spoke perfect English.

Great location for work or pleasure
Went on a business trip but would use for a holiday. Room was a bit small if we were a family but I guess they have bigger rooms. The bathroom was a bit small but good for one. Great breakfast for anyone that really wants to have s big meal. Bar and food was overall good as well.

The restaurant does not have English menus and the staff English skills are not great. Wait time at the restaurant is also very long before you get service. The clothes iron in my room had bare copper wires exposed which is VERY dangerous

Hotel was helpful and beautiful, bed were comfortable and maid service was on point. Only issue I had was there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, even the king size room I stayed in. I had to use my window to keep my daughters drinks cold, lost a sippy cup to the roof unfortunately. Also had to walk down and ask front desk to warm up my daughters meals every time. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was actually quite lovely, beautiful reception and the room was fairly big for what it was with a large bathroom including a bath and a shower which was great. The only thing it lacked was tea and coffee facilities in the room, this was quite disappointing since everything else was so lovely.

Good: -> nice room, nice breakfast Can-be-improved: -> The room was a bit too cold for me. I was unable to find out how to increase the room temperature (but I did not search for long). The bathroom floor was nicely warm. The pool and gym are closed until 08:00 am officially, but when asking front desk, I was able to get access to the gym already at 06:30 am.

For such an expensive room rate, I was expecting my room to be a little less basic. Very old fittings which felt cheap. The downstairs bar and charming Argentinian barman were a lot better. Breakfast quite good too. I tend to avoid Scandic hotels as they are usually high price but have low quality rooms.

Excellent hotel! Large comfortable rooms. Great breakfast (although wish times were posted or in the room - breakfast was till 10am on Sunday.. assumed the same on Monday but missed it as it was closing when I arrived at 9:30). Wish rooms had a fridge but guess pretty standard to not have one. Really only complaint is my bathroom had a horrible smell in the morning.. but they quickly allowed me to move to another room -which was fine -no smell!!
