Room too hot, AC useless, pillows extremely weird, no sleep. Parking was more expensive than advertised on Expedia listing and they wouldn't honour the advertised price. Shower head was a bit grim No hair conditioner, photos made it look like there would be plenty of products like this

Breakfast was excellent. Many local people come for breakfast - not just hotel guests. Lively. Self driving from airport while jetlagged a little tricky. Obscure one way streets. Very safe and interesting neighborhood..

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very good location, close to everything. My only recommendation is the service. While we were having breakfast, the staff at the reception were having a loud conversation that was louder than ours. Also, It would be better if there is a way to call for the garage attendant in front of the garage, instead of us getting out of the car and looking for him in the reception area.

Location very central but quiet and felt safe. Service and staff excellent. Room a little dated, bed comfy, pillows not so much. Room was extremely hot all the time despite turning the stat off and keeping the window open. The shower was powerful but the bathroom smelt musty.

Great hotel right in the city centre
Unbeatable location, just one block away from the main shopping pedestrian street of Vitosha boulevard. Rosslyn Thracia is a small hotel of about 60 rooms on 8 floors with 2 lifts, so it was quick to get in and out. We were on the 4th floor in room 408. The room was very well appointed and had all the mod-cons, including TV, ta and coffee making facilities, minibar, aircon. It suited 3 of us veey well. Beds were comfortable and there was a selection of pillows to choose from. Storage space was good and there were plenty of towels and bath robes provided. Room was clean and well0insulated from street noise even though we were facing the main Solunska street. My only remarks would be towards the bathroom, which was a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refurbishment - shower enclosure was leaking, shower head needed a bit of clean-up and descaling and there was a bit of mould on some of the seals. Also the pockets of one of the bath robes were torn off in several places. The hotel offers breakfast for EUR 10 per person. This is served in the lobby, which is quite small and there did not seem to be a lot of choice. There are a lot of options on Vitosha boulevard 2 to 5 minutes away, so we opted for these instead.

nice, modern hotel close to Sofia center
Hotel and staff are both nice. If you aren't russian or bulgarian no TV channels to watch except for one British (?) new channel. WiFi was generally spotty and at times unstable - disappearing entirely. On the flip side, hotel manager (?) was very helpful when I really needed working WiFi and gave me access to an internal network

Comfortable hotel in a great location
The hotel is in a great location and really easy to find. The valet parking was great as on street parking looked limited. Staff were really friendly and our two bedroom site was great with comfy beds, large bathrooms and a balcony. Only thing that let's the hotel down was the breakfast. Each morning we had to ask for bread etc as the baskets were empty despite being more than an hour before service finished. The hot selection was limited to a few pancakes (unless they'd been finished), hash browns and chicken sausages. Despite that i'd recommend it for comfort, staff and location.

Very clean, great breakfast buffet, great location
Very nice hotel, clean, great location, best breakfast buffet. My only complain is that I booked my hotel 3 months in advance but when I got there I got this tiny room on the first floor. Very dark with no view and no free toiletries. Room number 100. I was expecting a better room since I booked it In advance and was paid for too. Other than that everything else was great.

Great location near the wide, pedestrian - only street lined with restaurants and shops. One of the best restaurants for Bulgarian food is right next to the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel and the tourist experience in this lovely city of Sofia.

I couldn't tell from the pictures, but the hotel is old. Like everything is old. Hairdryer in the hotel was weak, though you can go to the reception and they'll give you a nice one. Bed sheets had "lumps" so they were very uncomfortable to sleep in, they definitely need an upgrade. Room is very very dark, especially the closet area and where the full sized mirror was, it was hard to get ready and put on make up properly. The hotel left a complimentary small bottle of wine with a note, it was a good gesture I guess but the card was addressed to someone else...

The best thing about this hotel was the excellent location. The hotel itself was OK, but very dated and missing a few key basic niceties (somewhere to hang hand towel, shower door handles broken, cheap basic furniture, etc.). Breakfast had a good selection.
