"We loved our stay. Cottage is cosy, well equipped; we had all we needed, even if the items were not the most modern ones. The location is amazing (that is if you like a secluded place surrounded by nature). Check-in was interesting, as the couple didn't speak English, and our German is not that good (Finnish even worse), but they were very friendly and kindly accomodated our late arrival. Thank you"

"Villa Aihki is really wonderful. It is very cosy with the sauna and fireplace that can be used any time. The light around and in the house is done very nice so it feels very warm and comfortable. Even the birds come to feed on the terrace :) The bed is very good, pillows as well. The seating in the living room is very comfy too. The area is very quiet and feels safe. You can always go out for a walk - it is only nature everywhere around the house. We also walked several times to Luosto."

"It has been a dream of mine to visit Finland in the winter. This year it became possible. When I started looking for places to stay, the cabin popped up in my search.I loved it here and this area. "This cabin was perfect for our group of 5. We even got to see the aurora twice. The inclusion of skis, snowshoes, a boot warmer, a closet dryer and a delightful lake to explore were great extra perks. We arrived to a warm, cozy place with a well plowed driveway. The property manager was responsive and kind. I would highly recommend this cabin and don't forget to sauna and run out for a snow swim. We will be coming back, no doubt."

"Un chalet aussi beau que confortable. Rien ne manque je recommande fortement. Petite chambre très confortable pour nos filles, grande chambre parentale avec lit électrique. Le chalet est hyper bien chauffé, très lumineux et hyper propre. Très bien aménagé, suffisamment spacieux pour notre petite famille de 4 personnes. "I love everything in this property. It was a fantastic and restful stay with my sister and bestie. The staff are extremely nice - Andrea, Mia, Tina, Omar and the other cook all very warm and hospitable. Even the drivers who picked up and dropped us off at the Kakslautannen bus stop are friendly. I will surely go back and visit the place with my son and other family members in winter time. They will surely love this place. Thank you for hospitality."

"This accommodation was the perfect end to our trip to Finland, the cabin was genuinely faultless, it was spacious and cosy, with a very comfy and warm feeling. The kitchen was was well equipped with pots and utensils etc for if you wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was comfy with a lovely view to wake up to. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean with! Genuinely cannot pick fault with this place. The hot tub was the perfect end to every day and we even found time to jump in before our flight home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were attentive if you needed the to be and the dropped off a lovely breakfast each day for us. The only quibble I had was the drive from the main road to the accommodation, the track felt like an afterthought or was maybe unfinished as it was littered with potholes. But that is her only issue I can find with the accommodation. Overall would definitely recommend and would without question stay there again! "

"Amazing breakfast included in the room cost 7-10am, got a free upgrade to a suite with a personal sauna in our room, perfectly located in the middle of the village. Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!"

"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. Whilst watching the lights we got ourselves locked out when the cabin door shut after us so make sure you snip the door or take key outside!! Sent a message to customer service (phone number didn’t work for us) and they responded sending a maintenance man to let us back in within an hour (90 euro fee). Did a few activities in the area led by local guides and walks in the beautiful white landscape. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. "
