It is a decent hotel for just a one-night stay. We booked the last room of this hotel, and unfortunately, we probably got the worst one. Our room was supposed to be two twins or one queen..but the two beds we got didn’t match. It was one tiny double (they called it a European Queen) and a twin bed. We couldn’t push the two beds together, so we had to squeeze into the double bed. We are pretty slim, but it was still very uncomfortable. The room was also an ADA-accessible room, so the design was not optimal for someone that didn’t require assistance. Lastly, I noticed no mini fridge or AC (we didn’t need it). The receptionist was friendly, but no one was there at 8 am when we checked out. We didn’t pay extra for breakfast, but the dining room looked lovely. Parking was free on the street overnight (till 8 am). The hotel (with an elevator) felt historic and grand, but we didn’t get that same experience in our room.

Reservation made for a Classic room. We do not offer refrigerators and air conditioning in the standard room. A different type of room with this kind of amenities should have been chosen. Information is posted on the reception desk that our reception is not open 24 hours. Thank you for opinion.

The accommodation was very luxurious, more than its star rating. The breakfast room was managed by very helpful and friendly staff. The cold buffet had a vast choice of fresh produce & scrambled or fried fresh eggs are available on request. Very well placed for trams and mainline transport

I loved the charm of this property! Great location. Be sure to reserve the spa/sauna ahead of time, and know that it comes at an additional fee. Very, very friendly and accommodating staff! Would definitely stay here again!

Very good ,old world charm
The place has a wonderful and refreshing old world charm. The room was spacious. Candles burning in lanterns on the ataircase added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was very casual and of good quality. The only drawback was the shower which could not easily be used without flooding the bathroom floor. Service from staff was topnotch.

Great stay, location suberb & staff really friendly. Only downside, apartment cleanliness wasn't 100% as the kitchenette & apartment floor were dirty / dusty - just needs to be improved & shouldn't put anyone off staying. Thank you!

Thank you for opinion. Reception is open 24 hours and we didn't receive any information that you need any help with something. Cleaning of the room is every day and our chambermaid clean the room every day. It will be nice if for future you can leave us any information we can help if we know any problem.

Beautiful place, with solid wood furnishings and trim, spacious, and close to train station and metro.Very friendly helpful staff. Only complaint is the walls are very thin, so if your neighbor is talkative and loud, you are going to hear it.

Meeting Polish Family!
This hotel has an old-world feel about it, but the amenities are modern and clean. I was travelling by train from Gdansk and arrived later than a sibling. Hotel staff were contacted prior to ensure check-in was provided to my sibling and this went without a hitch. Staff friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Hotel is close to train station and shopping centres. Very easy to get around Katowice from this hotel. Rooms were of a reasonable size and beds were comfortable. It was a little warm of an evening and we were able to open windows for fresh air and a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was included in our booking and this was excellent, with a variety of food available and helpful staff to serve. We stayed 5 nights and would recommend for singles, couples and families. Would stay again!

5 Nights of Comfort!
Was here for 5 nights with family, but booked a room for myself separately. The room was spacious with a lovely old-world charm, but bathroom was updated and very clean. There was an airconditioner, but no control to use it. It probably would have been provided had I requested it, but didn't need it. Staff were very accommodating and check-in and check-out was smooth and hassle-free. Hired a car for two nights and was able to park car at the hotel for small fee (10PLN per night). Our booking included free breakfast and it was well worth it. The range of food available was good and again staff helpful and courteous. Hotel is very close to train station and there is a Galleria (shopping centre) very close by if you want to purchase sundry items. Very convenient location for seeing Katowice. Would recommend this hotel for singles, couples and families - extended stay is good! Would book again.

Great location, 24 hour reception, fantastic value
We arrived at gone 1am. No problems parking the car (I''d reserved a space at a small cost per day) friendly greeting - spoke excellent English. Very good breakfast included in the very reasonable price of our double room (£40 per night). Room spotlessly clean with en-suite. Excellent location - short walk to the centre and train station. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel. We had a really big room with nice furnishings. The bathroom with a spa bath was brilliant after a day of sightseeing. All the staff but especially on Reception were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast room was spacious, quick efficient service for a cooked breakfast and everything else you might want to eat. Hotel is close to the town centre so handy for the railway/bus stations. Highly recommended.
